The Raps have some nice talent on their team and some great shooters. But goodness, I'd love for the Wiz to be matched up with them in the playoffs.

The Raptors are just in no way built for playoff basketball. They can't defend. They can't rebound. They rely completely on shooting well. They're a Bruce Bowen, Ben Wallace, and a Caron Butler (in their respective primes) from being a team of consequence in the spring.

Anyhow, I'm off to bed. Get healthy, Wiz.

It's mutual then. We want you in the playoffs, and you want us in the playoffs. We wanted you in the playoffs last year too, and would have had you if not for "a deflection by Ruffin".

I've been pretty quiet this season on EJ. but my only complaint is that he lets games get out of hand and then call timeout. Instead of calling timeout to try and regroup and slow it down. It hurt us tonight, of course now our O is dead in the water but oh well.

u know in the playoff with gilbert your team chemistry will be down. Unless butler wants to take a back seat to the franchise when he returns your sucess is going to depend on gilbert. Gilbert has to be the franchise to get paid this summer.

I know were going to lose this game, but can't we play with a tiny bit of heart. Im especially talking to the run guns who play like dopes when they finally get some burn time, take advantage of your minutes dont try to show boat, run the offense and play defense, dont try to just go for steal and blocks, get experience don't just quit...maybe im whining a bit, but these young guys a think play to casaul they need to get their head in the game were going to need them come playoff time...

Can the Wizards defend? Wizards allow more points per game so kind of makes sense that they can't.

We play decent defense on-occasion, depends in the match-up, but we usually give up buckets.

Wiz will never be confused with the Spurs defensively, but they've made marked defensive improvements since last season. As they get their personnel back, that improvement should even continue a bit.

Is also just about attitude and physical toughness. The Raps will kill anyone in the league in a 3-point shooting contest. But they don't have the physicality to withstand a full strength Wizards for 7 games.

why you don't defend the 3 tight against the raps is beyond me.
