yeah, he played a whooping 3 mins at the end of a tough game.
He was hardly the problem tonight.
I put this one squarely on EJ shoulder. He blow a great effort by
AJ, AB, BH, and AD.
DS is slaying a huge egg. NY should have been in end of first, early 2nd.
I beat he would have helped us if he had a chance to get involved in the flow of the game.
It have no become imperative that EG trade Songaila before the trade dead line. This team just isn't EJ proofed enough. Besides, we need another PG for a least a month.
Come on EG, do you thing.

Songaila is bad, but what other choice does EJ have? Pecherov is awful right now. He has no clue where to be on defensve. Songaila has a clue, he just doesn't alway get there.
Stevenson needed to step and he was horrible. I wish EJ would have gone to Nick Young earlier. It might not have made a difference but considering the bricks Stevenson and Mason were throwing up, you'd think he'd look for a little offense in the second quarter.
Give the Jazz credit. They stunk up the joint in the first half, but they outclassed the Wiz the rest of the way. Not surpised at all.

DeBrick has multiple personalities this year-offensively. He does bring the defense every night. We may have to wait another month or so but I think the best way to get rid of Songaila is for Etan to return or for Pecherov to show he can play both ends and actually pretend he likes to get within 10 feet of the paint.

Are you kidding. Did you see AB tonight. It was awesome seeing him grow. Baby KG. Amazing move. Behind the back. Js. Dunks. Blocks. Rebounds. That was awesome.
Love watching BH nail those FT and play with AB.
AJ is also fun to watch.
We could have won against Utah without CB in there. That's amazing.
The only nightmare is watching EJs rotations. He put Songaila at center and the game changed. Then he went back to him. Then he doesn't put in NY when DS and Mason were ice cold.
Songaila sucks. We didnt see OP for even 1 minute.
You just don't get to make mistakes like this against a good team without CB on the court.

the effort was largely there, but they just couldn't hit a shot. roger and deshawn were ice cold. they needed to build a bigger lead early on, it was nice to be up double digits but they still left too many points out there.
i've been hesitant to pile on songaila but he's really a crutch for this team right now. like was said, he knows what to do, he just isn't capable of doing it right now. once caron is back there's no excuse for him taking any PT away from blatche who is really showing the entire arsenal lately. 19/13/2 with 3 steals and 4 blocks? um, hello!
if you told me boozer/williams would shoot 6-for-23 for 15 total points i would have thought the outcome would have been different, but alas.

Hard to pick out the positives in a loss, but when people settle down, they'll realize he's really getting that swagger back he had earlier this season and then some. I think he's versatile enough to play some 3, 4 or 5 depending on the matchup. He should be the first frontcourt player off the bench when Caron gets back.
As for AJ being fun, he's fun to watch on both ends. Fun for the other team as well.

True-dat, a lot of what-ifs tonight. DeBrick & Mason sucking tonight really hurt us. DeBrick is very streaky.
What it is is that when people are thrust into different roles because of injury, they show why they are either coming off the bench, or don't shoot much when they are in. Deshawn is not gonna be a main cog on offense. He's just gonna move the ball, play D, and hit a shot of two. He looked like playoff Deshawn tonight, no coincedence that Caron and Gil are absent.
When we are missing 2 all stars and playing a top Westen conference team, you can't get to worked up about a loss.
