President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Trump and Republicans in congress have been doing an excellent job brainwashing the next generation to not vote Republican. A great gathering today!

Not following this "played" thing.
I dont think you understand that all "MAGA's" are not the same. There is a well educated faction. There is a wealthy faction. There is a combo of both. And then there are the middle class that is all types of intelligence levels. and there are even the poor. All of whom have different attraction to MAGA. But at its heart, MAGA's are trying to change things. MAGA's want the government to spend responsibly to get the debt under control. This is of upmost importance. But we understand that sometime you have to spend more now to save money later. Our goal is to increase the wages of the working class and working poor. Reduce taxes of the working class and working poor. thats MAGA in a nut shell.
As much as all MAGA's are not the same we do all seem to believe in an Inherent love for this country. We want the country to work for the citizens. We want to keep the idea of "america" alive. For it to be a place where dreams dont come to die but can be realized because our government works and presents opportunity for ALL Americans. MAGA's are simply trying to keep that "america" alive. We realize it is has been in dire straights for a while. In part because we have overspent and allowed the wealthy of both american and non american citizens to hoard nearly all of the American wealth that our financial systems and markets created into the hands of the elite 1% of the world's wealthy class. Why? What can we do about it? Where do we start? How long will it take? Those are the questions MAGA's are asking. And the smartest of us realize that this will take decades to undo the current dire straights we find ourselves..
Will America ever work again? I dunno. And perhaps america never did work or perhaps it did work and it worked too well. for decades. so well that we got careless. we began to get cocky. Thought we could seemingly spread around this never ending abundancy of wealth around the entire world? That Sounds like a typical foolhardly american thing to do. If nothing else, americans are certainly foolish. And Maybe its more sinsister and we were systematically "tricked," as you say, into spreading our wealth around the world? wealthy foreign elites raped and pillaged their own state then fed off of american wealth. And our politicians allowed them to hoard it and store it abroad in tax shelters? Do you really believe the wealthy europeans of 1800's were also not the wealthy people of the 1900's? and then the 2000's? Of course new money from new family's emerge. Its complex and no one will be made to understand any of this because there are powerful and influential forces on all sides of these debates that wont allow the truth to prevail. Instead agendas with large propaganda machines confuse most of us. conflate the issues. frustrate most of us. Bottom line that we are all too familiar: 90% America's "wealth" is now in the hands of the 1% elite(both foreign and domestic). And the % of wealth is growing while the % that own it is diminishing. more wealth in fewer and fewer hands. many experts predict that within 50 years 98% of the worlds wealth will be controlled by 10 companies or less (with tons of subsidiaries of course). Why are we allowing this? and is this not the greatest issue we face?
Even though I'm MAGA, i'm an independent. Right now one could consider me a neocon. as in newly conservative. But I am not a war hawk. I lost all confidence in the democrats ability to govern...mostly because their social programs are proven to NOT work and we can look back 4-5 decades in most large liberal cities that are costly and bankrupt or near it. They killed the middle class and allowed them to get hooked on drugs to the point that 45,000 people died from OD last year alone. To me that's chemical warfare. Which makes it war. which makes it national security. which makes the wall a national security issue. which means he can use "other" funds to build that wall. Most people in boarder control and ICE say that 90% or more of those illicit opoids are coming across the souther boarder. but i digress.
I served in the US Navy during Golf War. So unlike many that post here, I know better. I genuinely feel for troops that serve in war time and I do not wish to see our troops in combat. I dont want war. and I also do NOT want to do the world's policing without the "world" footing the bill. It's not sustainable. We can NOT afford it. We cant feed the world. nor police the world. Nor be overly concerned with spreading and promoting democracy. Its too expensive and every single one of these regimes has taken advantage of us. Appeasement doesn't work. Sometimes you have to accept civil war. we had one. we came out of it a better country. with more freedoms for all. What we can do is surgical strikes and carefully crafted help to ensure the good guys win. Those dont cost THAt much. Same with bad regimes like NK and Iran. I dont know why we waste so much time and money with them. Why not Just blow the nuclear programs the fxck up instead? Including any leaders that refuse to denuke? I dont see why we puzzy foot around witht hese leaders. And make the world pay for us to police it. One way or another we should collect on those costs. Like controlling the worlds oil supply. Why not? we protect it. We should get paid on every barrel sold. Because if we pulled our protection on the world's oil, Russia and china would end up controlling it all, possibly alongside ISIS type revolutionaries. and it would happen in 60 days or less. The US. "america" keep those russian and chinese forces in check and no one else. but again, But still I digress.
As I said. I'm Still registered as a democrat. So i just dont understand how I am the "mark." Nor this idea that Trump "tricked" people. Donald trump understands all of this. To a T. And he understands we are broke. that we cant spend much more money until we get fiscally healthy again. He understands that we need to spend our money in ways that will help the fiscal bottom line the most. And that is the boarder and the military. Both of which Obama allowed to go to complete crap...as well as created rediculous rules of engagement where we could not actually "win" wars. we got troops. Americans. Your sons, daughters, and grandchildren. fighting a war with old equipment that is falling apart and with rules of engagement that put them in harms way. All because Obama was afraid to be the "bad guy?" It was a damn war!! An unjust war! we should not have been there to begin with and we got nothing out of it. Nothing. but if you are there you may as well win. and win quickly. and write your own damn version of history so as not to look bad. Obama dragged that thing on forever. and allowed insurgency after insurgency. tliban, al quaeda, ISIS, ISIL. Who was next? methinks The latin Kings were going to pop up sooner or later. All the while MS-13 was running drugs through mexico and into our southern boarder. Running drugs and trafficking young girls. But still I digress.
1. I believe in affordable health care for all-who wish to be insured.( i just dont think healthy people should be forced to pay for insurance if they dont want it. If healthy people do want insurance they should pay less...and i believe that first attacking the cost drivers is the fairest way to affordable health care. Just like good drivers should not pay the same amounts for car insurance as reckless drivers. If the average good health care plan costs $700 per month, then healthy people should pay $200-300 and unhealthy people should pay $2000.00 or more depending on how much they use it. The government and the internet should help create ways to pay for healthcare. I just dont believe that everyone deserves to live in a mansion, own a boat, drive a ferarri, nor have elite health care unless they choose to pay for it. Keep in mind that I am a Doctor of dental medicine, an oral surgeon. I perform surgery every single work day of my life. I have treated over 100,000 patients in my over 18 years of serving the community. Not everyone deserves a $75,000 implant supported smile make over. And nearly no insurance will pay for it. Some people just get a set dentures. just like some people get a 800sf 2br apartment. and other people get a 10 million dollar SFH. I'm not saying its fair. I'm not saying its just. The system itself sucks. And the problem is that we allow human beings to hoard wealth. Every single poster on realgm is afraid to seize the wealth. So if you are not giving away a $10M SFH to each and every american then why pretend life is fair? and why do so with health care? When we(as a people) are ready to level the playing field for everyone and we are all born on first base instead of 3rd base or home plate? when that day comes I'll be ready to say everyone deserves a $75,000 smile make over.
2. I believe in safe streets. I just dont see gun control as a means to safe streets. I think we need to allow cops on the street do their jobs and better mental health profiling with a better background check system is the fair way to go about safer streets. hardening schools and arming teachers and guards is a better policy than taking everyone's guns away. But Ilike Trump and David Hogg) i do support making automatic weapons illegal as well as large capacity magazines. Taking it a step further. I was at my gun range today. a box of 50 rounds in only $20. I fully support upcharging $100 for the same amount of ammo.... as a means to keep younger people and even poorer people (who may be more desperate) from doing something stupid. But strict gun control laws dont seem to work. We have strict laws in chicago. and as pointed out by our resident genius, Cammac, everyone can simply go over to Indiana and buy whatever gun they want at a gun show and do so without a background check. And the same goes for mexico if we make federal laws banning guns or certain types of guns. The bad guys will get them from mexico or via shipping/smuggling. My idiot brother's friends order pounds of weed through the mail system. they are criminals and have nothing to lose. so they take those crazy risks. And bag guys(mass shooters) will ship and smuggle guns because they have nothing to lose. they are going to die in a shootout with police anyway or go to jail for life. The wall would help but with or without the wall, I believe bad people will get guns becauae there are already 300,000,000 on our streets. So ONLY the law abiding citizens suffer from gun control. Just as David Hogg points out..."why do the (law abiding kids) have to use transparent back packs!!!" And once again, I agree with him!!! They shouldn't. And law abiding citizens should not have their right to arm themselves to protect themselves infringed upon. And who is to say who needs what?? For example i live in chicago. My GF and I each have our own semi auto handguns. But if i lived in a rural area(or on the coast where a boat load of armed thieves could raid my house) I would have a at least 2 semi auto large capacity assault type rifles. And IMO opinion this is the best route to safe streets: A strong deterrent in knowing that your neighbor has a gun and will not hesitate to use it keeps criminals in check.
3. I believe in quality and affordable education and access to that education for all. Via loans. I took them out to attend dental school. I was responsible and I paid them back. Many are not. We cant give away $150,000 in loans to a student (on their signature alone) to obtain a crappy liberal arts degree from some crumby state school. The likelihood that a student will default is high. Cap the student loans commensurate with the pay the degree will earn. You cant just keep allowing students to borrow. The tax payers pay for the interest on those loans. As well as for the defaults which are growing at alarming rates and are expected to get much worse. I took out $150K to get a doctorate where the average pay at the time was $169K for 1st year dentists out of school and my repayment was $656.00 per month. It was a reasonable risk for the government to make on me. Equally important as the costs of loans to tax payers is the actual cost drivers themselves for a higher education to the student is beyond crazy. Its skyrocketed in the last 25 years. And why? to pay for marketing for these schools? To pay for new residential halls? To pay for shiny new libraries? Why? They are still teaching almost the exact same things at these universities now as they were 20 years ago(except the growing and severe liberal bias). The education is NOT better. In fact, it is likely worse. But they just have comfier dorms, nicer class rooms and cafeterias. For what!!!?? So the kids can have more fun??? its a waste of money. Thats what we are paying for? to subsidize all these massive loans? So the grown azz "kids" can have more fun???? getting laid on the tax payers' dime, huh? That's the new american way? not where i come from. get through school. make some money. and spend your own damn money to have a good time and get laid is the american dream i'm fighting to keep alive.
4. I also believe in immigration. but not at the expense of a middle class that has stagnant wages. The middle class is the most important class. most of us should be in it if not ALL OF US. Most wealthy people should be taxed down into it and more poor people should have easier pathways to attain middle class status.
5. I believe in spending on infrastructure, ss, medicaid, etc. but not at the expense of sustainable government. We are entering a stage where US citzens are going to have to pay 70-80% income taxes. and to be frank...My kids wont have to...They will be able to leave this country as will I. The deficit, once it hits 60-70 trillion which is 25 year away, we just wont be able to afford it. Bad things will happen. And that is why they are working on taking guns away now. Because in the next 25 years or less we are going to face 70-80% income taxes or higher and people will refuse to pay those taxes so the poor kid down the street can eat or the old guy down the street can have his back surgery or get his cancer meds. they wont pay it. Say all you want now, but they wont. and the country wont be able to afford the interest on the debt. So bad things will happen. First abroad. make no mistake. our government will try some gangster shxt...likely in the middle east. and we will likely do what trump said 2 years ago, "take the oil." But we can only do that if the military is still the baddest in the world. And if it does not work. Cuz it might not. The US Gov. will then be forced to seize money via taxes to pay for the debt. which will lead to property seizures from the citizens. And those citizens wont stand for it. At that time they will need their guns. And you are a damn fool if you dont see the debt eventually causing a state of panic and emergency eventually creating massive inflation and/or massive taxes. And you are a damn fool to give up your guns now before that day comes. All under the guise that it necessary due to a handful of people killed here and there? Those non gang related mass shootings are tragedies because most of the time it is entirely innocent people that are victims especially children. All 80 of them per year (on average). conversely we are talking about 45,000 opioid overdoses.
6. i'm pro life after 22 weeks unless something is wrong with the baby.AFTER 22 WEEKS, IT IS MURDER (FOR ME). before 22 weeks i believe in PRO-choice. but i do not think federal tax dollars should ever pay for abortions because over 1/3 of our nation does not believe in abortion based on religious beliefs. Its not right to use their money to pay for those procedures.
Those are my basic beliefs. I dont think they are that far from the norm. that far off base. And i'm definately not anyone's "mark" save maybe obama's? he lied to me. about almost everything. Especially this forward thinking green grid energy platform he ran on... "in 8 years there will not be another gasoline propelled car in america!" Obama did absolutely nothing to advance this agenda. Nothing. Which is odd because he had the automobile industry by the balls in 2008 when he bailed all of them out. To say nothing of the banking industry that he let roll him. The man just was NOT ready to be president. He should have allowed the banking industry to completely collapse. then nationalized them all. then erased our debt. chance of a millenial. a frickin millenial!!!! and he blew it! BLEW IT!!! I gave up on democrats right then and there. He laid cover for big banking, big auto, and big insurance (AIG) while letting 10 million working class americans lose their homes and 20 million more are still upside down on their mortgages. And then he allowed Warren buffet to not only purchase prudential but then also buy up over 80% of those homes that those working class american families lost. All for big real estate to profit. But still I digress.
Obama is going down as the worst president of all time. History will not be kind. At all. But we were in a world of pain and shxt long before Obama. It just all came to head on his watch. and he had no idea what to do about it. he froze and allowed the wealthy elite ruling class to protect their wealth and make all of his decisions. which is disgusting. I would have expected that from Romney. Or Bush. Thats who those guys were and didn't pretend to be other. Obama was suppose to be a hero for the working class. for the poor. and he was the exact opposite. more wealth changed hands from the middle class to the wealthy under obama than nearly all the other presidents combined. But still I digress.
And thats why MAGA exists. MAGA is trying to reverse this terrible spiral that is out of control.
like i said, its a full rebuild.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XIX
Since it is Sunday I think we should reflect on the wisdom of some of the people who surround Trump on the subject of the opioid plague. We know that just there wise council will stop the crisis in its tracks and monuments will be built to these sage remarks right up there with the Gettysburg Address.
1st. Kellyanne Conway
2nd. Eric Trump
1st. Kellyanne Conway
Counselor to the president Kellyanne Conway offered her advice to a group of millennials Thursday, encouraging them to just eat more junk food instead of turning to opioids.
"On our college campuses, your folks are reading the labels, they won't put any sugar in their body, they don't eat carbs anymore, and they're very, very fastidious about what goes into their body," Conway said at a meeting with young people at the White House. "And then you buy a street drug for $5 or $10, it's laced with fentanyl, and that's it."
Conway, who's been charged with leading the White House's efforts on managing the opioid crisis, encouraged students to take a different path.
"So I guess my short advice is, as somebody double your age: eat the ice cream, have the french fry, don't buy the street drug," she said. "Believe me, it all works out."
2nd. Eric Trump
The president's younger son seems to think the war on drugs just needs more guns. That's how it worked for him when he was young, at least. Entering the debate on two New Jersey students who were suspended from school allegedly taking a picture at a gun range, Eric Trump said guns kept him from drugs and drinking when he was younger. He also said that guns grow the bonds of family.
Like many of his (and his father's) controversial statements, Trump made them on Twitter. Adding the hash tag #why and #2A, he retweeted a Fox News article on the New Jersey students and wrote:
"Shooting was a big part of my youth - it kept me away from drinking/drugs, taught me safety, discipline, consentration [sic] and so many other positive life lessons."
Switching gears to the bonds of family, he continued, "It has brought generations of children together with parents, grandparents and other role models."

Some would disagree about Michelle being average in any way but you're entitled to your opinion.

Agreed than Hands seemed clueless about everything going on around him and pathetically begged for attention, but I don't think he sounded like a complete egomaniacal douchebag.

Btw thanks for always posting thoughtful responses. At the heart of the matter it appears that you understand the symptoms but I don’t think you understand the provlem. The current problem is MAGA again isn’t a group of well intentioned people. It may have been at one point but as of right now “there are not good people on both sides”. If MAGA had the moral high ground at some point it lost it well before Charlottesville and has sunk
Lower and lower ever since. Hispanics and blacks for the most part don’t feel included in the MAGA mantra when the president calls black athletes sons of bitches and calls for them to lose their jobs for peacefully kneeling to protest police brutality against the citizens. When the MAGA leader disqualified a Hispanic American judge because his parents were Mexicans from adjudicating a trial and no conservatives called that racist...etc. plus the worse part of your argument is that the rich have taken over and you can’t vote Democrat but then trump is part of the one percent and he hired no one but people from the one percent to run the government. So you basically voted for the fox to guard the henhouse - but if trump cared about middle class people he would take care of the people that work for him... and he doesn’t... per them. You got played when you made your argument and then picked trump as your leader to address your greivences with the government when he the worse of all of the people you state you want to run out of Washington - and he tells his followers but for some reason they don’t take him at his word. Btw- why didn’t Obama show his birth certificate? Remember when you asked us that? I agreed that was weird... but now trump won’t show his tax return...but you cool with that. Who cares if Obama was born on mars but he loved America but you should care if trump got a ton of money from Russians or didn’t pay taxes...for all the obvious reasons...

No one comes out ahead after that pointless drivel.
Not Stormy.
Not Donald.
Not even Anderson Cooper.
(Shutter at the thought of Trump being spanked by a p0rn star.)

Re: Political Roundtable Part XIX
Why would they do this to these kids?
Washington PostA fake photo of Emma González went viral on the far right, where Parkland teens are villains
A doctored animation of González tearing the U.S. Constitution in half circulated on social media during the rally, after it was lifted from a Teen Vogue story about teenage activists. In the real image, González is ripping apart a gun-range target.
Other elements of González have been used in an attempt to discredit her, online and off.

They do this to these kids because they are big proponents of The Big Lie propaganda technique, just like they are morphing the Russia investigation into it being about a rogue FBI/Deep State plot against Trump

Re: Political Roundtable Part XIX
Again as far as Donald Trump and Stormy both are trash but what could the fallout be?
This is where Melania might come in obviously she signed a prenuptial with the Trumpster but most have a sunset clause of 10 years and depending of terms like her being unfaithful with him doing a similar thing could void the agreement.
It is obvious that she is pissed and isn't returning to Washington with the Trumpster. I really haven't a positive or negative opinion on her as a person only that her cause as FOTUS is bullying which is the height of irony. One thing I do know is she is fearlessly protective of Barron. He isn't a infant and is 12 and I can imagine that his life at school must be hell. He would be a subject of bullying because of his father.
If she takes the divorce route which is very possible it opens up a huge can of worms for Trump. He becomes totally exposed in financial life, his personal life and even to the extent what he has said in private. The world will know his true net worth since she would be going after 50% and where his debt and true assets are. Would it hurt him with the "Born Again Crowd" who knows they seem to be huge hypocrites.
Again this is pure speculation on my part!

Don't rule out a revised agreement tied to sticking with him through the White House. Or blackmail regarding her parents' citizenship.Or the dark forces of Satan acting on her very will.

Those are possibilities but then the competence of his personal lawyers are very much in question.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Some would disagree about Michelle being average in any way but you're entitled to your opinion.
Obama didn't have to pay for it.
