How soon until that bitch wilbon back pedals on his Chicago bonerfest call? Watch him come crawling back to the dc market that made him famous and then proceed to tell us we're bad fans!

Fish, you going to the game Friday night? I'll be there with my wife Friday night and then my son on Sunday. Its my son's first playoff game. I just hope he doesn't get freaked out by the noise!

They've clearly wanted it more than Chicago, and they've kept their composure in key situations. I wish you guys the best of luck the rest of the way. I said Bulls in 5 or 6 and clearly I was wrong.

Best of luck throughout the playoffs, from a Virginia Tech alum.

Thanks man. UVA grad and Wiz fan here, appreciating the peace offering.

I'm not sure the Wiz wanted it more. The Bulls fought their tails off. Does seem to be an overall talent disparity and Thibs seems to be overusing his top seven though.

No problem. I'm about to relocate to Richmond and would love to see the Wiz become a contender. Would love the opportunity to see some NBA playoff games in the future (< 2 hour drive).

I think in game 1 the Wizards shell-shocked the Bulls with their energy and effort, to be honest. The Bulls are a team that lives and dies with effort, and I just didn't see it in game 1. Game 2 was completely different, however. The Wizards are currently a much more talented team, but I thought experience would prevail for the Bulls. It didn't. Your young guys kept their composure when the game mattered most; I was impressed.

Don't disagree with you on Thibs, either. He's an outstanding coach (top 3 in the league, IMO) but has a horrible habit of abusing his players and running them into the ground. Spend five minutes on the Bulls board and you'll see we all complain about this constantly...

Like I said, good luck in the rest of the playoffs. I want to see anyone but Miami represent the East; if it's the Wiz, that's just great. Congrats on an outstanding season from UVA as well; Bennett has done a remarkable job turning around your program, and I can only hope that Buzz Williams does the same for my Hokies. At least we have hope. That's something we're not used to in Blacksburg!

That was the icing wasn't it.

Don't forget he was also the guy who blew the inbounds pass in game 6 when we beat them the first time.

Right. Because they had to vision to call it after it happens.. :nonono:

Check out the score card on the right side.

http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/2014/ma ... ards-bulls

Wallace was the only one that picked the Wizards.

And these people actually get payed ?

That why I don't follow people in the media just because they are in the media. It doesn't count for much.

You beat me to it. I was just about to post that picture of all the ESPN expert picks. The crazy thing is that even Wallace might be wrong. Because it's looking like we're winning this series in less than 6 possibly.

Now that's not right after a tough lose.

But still kind of funny.

gotta give it up to Witt. Pulling all the right strings. Brinking Book in for Gortat and putting Ariza on DJ changed th game. They didnt score after that

I've been watching the Bullets/Wizards lose games like this for 30 years, in the rare instances in which they've actually made the playoffs. They always lost these games, always, and then we heard from some future HOF about how hard the Boulez pushed them, how tough they were, how they had a great future.

That never happened.

I don't necessarily believe in the future. Or the present really.

But I believe tonight. And that's something I never have been able to say in thirty years of watching, after a playoff game.

Definitely going Fri night. But esp if we win, I might sell my game 4 tickets.
My season tix neighbors are getting top dollar. I could pay for my seats in the next
round by giving up game 4.

I thought about selling my game 4 seats too, but I just can't do it. I'm starved for some playoff basketball.

Wittman is completely outcoaching Thibs by the way. And some people were calling for his head this year...

I took the opposite route; once they won G1, I knew it was highly unlikely that there wouldn't be a 3rd home playoff game. So I am not going Friday to bank future games. I am going Sunday, though.

Nice

Going to hold off on the Kookaid bump until we get the series. I think everyone will be ready for some by then. What do you think ?

Good stuff. Glad to see the board happy finally. Man. This is why I wanted the CHI match up. Just seemed like the right fit for them to advance. Glad to see its working out so far.
