JOB usually refers to Johnny O'Bryant, who has been surprisingly useful as a backup.
Bucks still need time to gel, but the potential is there. You're still ahead, but watch your back!

Thanks for the correction on JOB - I forgot about him.

If Wiz don't address lack of PF AND lack of frontcourt depth, the Bucks could easily overtake them this season.

The Bucks, Celtics, Pistons and possibly the Knicks might overtake the Wizards.

Charlotte's a lot tougher, too.

Cleveland, Atlanta, and Toronto appear better (still). Chicago is another team that's better than Washington.

I don't know where that league exists, but in the NBA no one can stop this guy

Averaging 35 points per game with a TS% of .757 and a PER of 45. He can't be human.

Charlotte is better than us too I'd guess, feeding Al Jefferson in the post is a big part of the Cats offense this and we know how paper thin our front court is. Their bench is way better too.

Atlanta seems to figured it out in the regular season and looks to be a 50+ win team again. Washington doesn't seem to have the discipline to show up for every game in the regular season.

Paul George looks even better to me this season.. his ballhandling and overall scoring arsenal has improved, and he's rebounding like a beast.

Still 3rd best SF after James and Durant.

I never bought this whole thing about Kawhi Leonard being better than him, like when did that happen?

Reggie Jackson is destroying the Blazers and Damian Lillard. He scored 14 in last game's fourth quarter. He's got 17 in the fourth tonight.

John Wall made a comment about Jackson's new contract. The guy is definitely earning it. Now has19 in the fourth....

At the same time Andre Drummond is averaging 20 rebounds a game. He's got 23 so far.

The Pistons just went off.

They out scored Portland 41-11 in the fourth quarter.

Reggie Jackson scored 26 in the fourth quarter. He went into the quarter at 14 points. He ended up with 40 points.

Andre Drummond answered the question of him or Beal to the tune of 29 points, 27 rebounds. He missed a ton of FTs. He's playing like prime Shaquille O'Neal.

Speaking of Portland, Noah Vonleh is off to a terrible start. He's not a stretch 4 at this point in his career, but supposedly he shows 3 point range in practice. He's got Bosh-like potential, imo - recently turned 20 and not ready for prime-time but a great future asset. Portis is more NBA ready, but Vonleh has more potential. Thinking out loud - I'd rather trade for Portis.

Bucks have won 4 straight to literally overtake Washington in the standings. Greivis went 0 for 10. He was a Jason Kidd fave, but I think it's time to sit his arse in favor of Bayless and Ennis - 4th string when MCW returns.

A lot of times I say things way ahead of mainstream agreement.

I said Reggie Jackson would challenge John Wall at PG.

So far he's been extremely effective and Detroit has overtaken Washington.

Just ran my first PPA numbers of the season. Stephen Curry has the highest PPA I've ever seen for anything other than a single game. Through the first seven games, Curry is at 468. Keep in mind, average is 100. The next closest player (Drummond) is at 296. The top Wizards player: John Wall at 153.

Wall's mouth has been bigger than his game for years. I thought his comments were uncalled for. I am sure Jackson took them as a slight and will be very up for the game when they play us.

Like I mentioned last week, Curry is doing something we've never seen before. I don't know if he can keep it up but right now he's playing like the GOAT and it's not even close.

Let's no go full Colin Cowherd here. If you've seen Wall talk in interviews, he pretty much has no filter and he speaks at a million miles an hour - it's easy to take one thing he says and spin it out of context

This was the quote:

"People talk about me getting $80 million, now you got people getting $85 million that haven't made the All-Star [Game] or anything like that," Wall said. "I guess they came in at the right time. That new CBA kicked in, and they're good now. Reggie Jackson gets five years, $80 million. I'm getting the same as Reggie Jackson."

Wall said that he's merely noting the way times have changed and is in fact pleased that more guys are getting paid big bucks.

"But I'm happy for all those guys," Wall said. "To see anybody get the opportunity to live their dream out, get the opportunity to take care of their family when they can, it's a blessing."

Wall was noting how there was a negative reaction to the dollar value of HIS contract (when people like David Falk and co were calling him overpaid), and now things have changed in the new cap environment.

His comments were taken out of context (like ALWAYS with RealGM's Wiretap, which is essentially TMZ Sports) you pinhead.

Nonsense. There is only one way an opposing player is going to take a comment like that, as an insult. Feel free to post comments other players have made about the contracts of opposing players. I doubt you will find many. It is just out of line regardless of context.

Wall has been saying for years that he is the best pg in the league when he hasn't even been in the same zip code as Chris Paul.

Funny, because this interview was just released of Wall praising Paul and his peers (including Derrick Rose who clearly doesn't deserve to be mentioned atm):

You're completely lacking context here - how is his 'mouth ahead of his game' by what he said? He wasn't insulting Reggie Jackson in any way.

Then what exactly did he mean by saying "I make the same as Jackson" if it wasn't to point out that he makes the same money as someone he believes he is far better than?

Wall makes over $4 million more than Curry. I don't see Curry making comments like that about Wall's contract or the contracts of other players.

Any player would take that comment as demeaning. And saying over and over again that he is the best pg in the league, when he isn't even close, is a case of his mouth writing checks that his game can't cash.

Again what other players made similar comments about Jackson's contract or any player's contract on an opposing team?
