I just chewed off all my fingernails fretting about this...

I think we should all read last year's draft lottery thread before this year's draft lottery. Maybe it will give us luck. Ji starting a thread is just asking for the 14th pick in the lottery even though we have no chance at getting the 14th pick.

Stop. There's one 3 miles from my home. On a clear day, I can smell em - like a tap on the shoulder. Then I wake up, and it's just Katherine McPhee tapping me on the shoulder telling me to wake up. Then I say, Geeze Kathy I was having a great dream. Would you just let me sleep in peace!

I haven't bought a new laptop since late '06. Splurged on a thinkpad x220. Arrived yesterday. Very happy.

Funny, but I just back from the gym. On the way home I saw a lady running with her dogs. One of them had three legs. It was keeping up, too. I guess that's not the wierdest thing. I'm just saying I noticed. :)

Adelman coaching the Lakers would be like George Foreman or Joe Frazier selling Muhammed Ali memorabilia.

Something tells me that Wes-Tiny-Abe isn't going to approve when this Internet fad comes to DC.

.

I'm already Facebook friends with a number of you. And I follow Rafael on Twitter.

But how many of you have "liked" the RealGM facebook page?

Just curious.

Jiffy Lube Live is a joke. Banning tailgating for safety?... That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

The rapper who made "The Dougie" famous, was killed in a drive-by in LA. :nonono:

The romantic in me would prefer to think that Adelman is only considering accepting the Lakers' job in order to have one final glorious year of harping about the 2002 conference finals to anyone and everyone with every possible pretext.

"No, drive to the hole Kobe, there's no way you don't draw the foul. Remember 2002?"

"What the hell ref, that was a foul last time I checked, which was ten years ago."

"I'd ask how much they're paying you ref, but I'm coaching the Lakers. How much am I paying you?"

Then he could retire after the first year of the Lakers' star going supernova comforted by the knowledge that while the Lakers' may have twice screwed him out of a championship he enjoyed it the second time.

Dunno, I suspect she'll be splashed across the National Enquirer any day now.

if you're flatulent while wearing earbuds, does that
still count?

I wonder which NBA players have the worst rep for
farting on the court.

Very proud of Rick Welts.

I was so sad to read Grant Hill's twitter feed in the wake of his PSA about not saying something is "gay" so as to denigrate it. The ignorance and hate he got back was astonishing.

Homophobia pisses me off.

I used to get painful canker sores with relative frequency (especially when I had colds or was under high stress), and have all but eliminated them. Two main changes -- I stopped using toothpaste with the foaming agent sodium laurel sulfate (SLS), and I stopped chewing gum with Sorbitol (sorbic acid). Hope this might help someone has ever gets those painful mf-ers.

Speaking of internet networking, Linkedln is up about 100% on its ipo price on day 1. Our Uncle Ted's gotta be real heartened by that if he thinks his Groupon ipo should follow suit. I'd be interested to hear Indy's take on it. Hey, can we get a Wizards fan group rate on the Groupon ipo? I'm guessing anyone without a few hundred thou to spend and a connection has almost no chance to get in on it.
