Not sure that LBJ opting out means he’s 100% out the door, though. He’s basically retaining control over his situation, and forcing Cleveland to keep trying to improve.

This makes it less likely that LeBron is getting traded.

I think you can probably count Houston out at this point. It was a remote chance, but it would have probably been a 1 or 2 season championship or bust arrangement. There could be something like a double S&T, but I think the chances are a lot lower.

Most reporting seems to indicate it is a choice between the Lakers and Cavs. The expectation seems to be that a 2nd star would join LeBron: Paul George and Leonard are the most commonly mentioned names.

It wouldn't surprise me if there is a 3rd team that is a possibility. If the teams weren't such a mess, I think NY might have some pull.

Is there an irresistible offer the Lakers could make for John Wall?

And the King that dominated the East has gone West.

Toronto might keep their team together now.

At least we now have hope. Unfortunately we still have Mahinmi, Smith, and Meeks.

I don't see it. If Ujiri decides to keep the Raptors together, they are far better than us. The Sixers are far better than us. The Celtics are far better than us.

Hey, it's better than if he signed with the Sixers. I guess we're fighting for 4th place with Indy and Milwaukee. Replacing Cleveland.

We just took the raptors to 6 without Otto, then added a 1st round pick when the raptors didn’t have one. How are they “far better” than us?

The LeBrakers will be on ESPN, ESPN2, TNT, NBATV, and TBS every night they play including exhibition games, Summer League, training camp practices, and intersquad games. Have to admit that this is going to be fun to watch them implode.

Seriously going to be highly enjoyable. Remember the Kobe mic’d up practices? Just wait, it’s going to be even worse than you think.

So even with an earthquake in the east and a top team becoming a bottom feeder.... On paper we are still right around 4th to 6th in the East. Probably likely towards the bottom because Bucks and possibly Indiana will probably be better than us too.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I’ve always been curious as to why people root against Lebron. Never quite understood it tbh.

You don't understand why Wizards fans root against Lebron?

I'll just say "crab dribble" and leave you with this picture.

I figured someone would post that. I mean that’s fair game but Lebron hate is generally more visceral then that. Especially since, in our case, it’s been more than a decade since we played a meaningful game against him.

I wonder how LeBron and Ball will play out together? I don't think there is a big issue on the basketball court, but I can't see LeBron being a big fan of LaVar Ball's involvement.

Looking forward to Cleveland totally sucking again - too bad Kyrie isn't still there to be the head of the losing snake.
