Yeah most democrats agree with that. Which was my whole point. I can tell from your posts that you have this absurd caricature
of liberals in your head. You sound like a 55 year old boomer addicted to RW news.

I wish that were the case, AFM, but if it were, we wouldn't keep having to cycle around this bathroom issue, which sport to play, the curriculum our tax-paying dollar is funding for the school system. If everyone can just agree what what "most" know, that there are only two genders, use the bathroom and play in the league for the gender you are, not what you think you are, then there really is no issue.

There’s no “issue”. The entire discussion is a distraction, like all this culture war BS. we’re stuck arguing over which bathroom a trans person can pee in, while the top 0.01% runs off with a bigger piece of the pie every year. Amazing how this culture war trash exploded out of nowhere right after Occupy Wall Street got popular, huh? They fight class consciousness with this sht every single time.
I don’t want biological males boxing women either, but if I had to make a list of the top 100 things wrong with this country that wouldn’t even crack the list. It’s something like 1/1000th of 1 percent of NCAA athletes are trans. How is this an issue? It’s not. But young conservatives in particular eat this sht up probably because it’s easy to dunk on 18 year old liberals who don’t even have their brains fully functioning yet. Meanwhile the president just stole 100s of millions from his supporters with a meme coin. Reread that sentence again.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXXIV
The bathroom issue is a far bigger one than sports. Little girls or young women shouldn't be in the same public restroom as men because a small percentage of people feel they are something they're not and can use whatever facility they deem they're entitled to.

You haven’t addressed my main point…
I live in Dupont circle the gayest neighborhood in the country. I’ve seen maybe 3 trans women in my life and never in a bathroom. Or if I have I haven’t noticed. There are plenty of gay men sexual predators, should they be forced to use another bathroom? The entire issue is a giant distraction
The country is going to hell and people are obsessed with this insane edge case scenario regarding an ultra minority group lol

1. The words of Deuteronomy 30:19 were written by my great great great great etc grandfather. They were addressed to my family & my people. They have nothing to do with you. If you wish to learn from them, you will have to join the conversation that descends from them. You can start, if you like, with the volume of Midrash Rabbah devoted to Deuteronomy
2. Above all, the words of Deuteronomy were not written to be, are not, will never be a tool for you or anyone to pass judgment on others, for judgment is not yours. Not in any way.
3. As to the fluidity of sexual appetite, sexual choices, sexual lifestyles, & sexual activities, again, yours is not to judge. We have thousands of years of widely varying human history to present that range to us, & it seems to involve much more than the xx / xy chromosome differential.
No one is asking you to behave one way or another. On the other hand, no one has given unto you the right (let alone the responsibility) to judge others different from you. If you continue to do so then you are a long way from being the person you imagine you are.
For -- since we are on Deuteronomy -- "this mitzva that I command you today, it is not hidden from you, and it is not distant."

Respectfully, you brought this up not me. I don't look around either when I'm in a public restroom; the point is to get in and out of that germ factory ASAP. For such a small minority of people, they sure do make a lot of noise about what they perceive to be their rights.
I'd rather discuss the bigger issues like how broken the tax system is, ridiculous politicians like my fellow Indian Mandamni who thinks everything should be free, and those who pay jack in taxes and then get refunds, can get more and more freebies and others' expense. Wiping out student debt instead of holding people accountable for what they agreed to borrow.
And if Trump is indeed that, you wont hear a peep out of me in terms of impeaching him and more. Anything or anyone that's a threat to little kids should be called out, including the worst atrocity, abortion, which again the left celebrates.

There's a difference between judging and saying just because you believe something about yourself that isnt true, it does not give you special rights. The entitlement factor is what I'm calling out, not a judgment of their lifestyle.

Nonsense, you've got great style and a great delivery, good for capturing constituent imagination. If not a straight up political electee or appointee, you would be great in political advertising or speechwriting. Of course, once you're in, you'll never get out.

It's great to see that our president, vice-president and secretary of defense aren't so busy that they can't deliver fast food to the National Guard, especially since police are apparently rounding up all the food delivery mopeds. I'd hate to be a DC restaurant owner right now.

BS. You're a died-in-the-wool bigot, and you should just admit it, not hide behind some "I'm not judging people..." front. There's no special rights on offer, just the same right as anyone else to use the bathroom that matches your gender.
I'm sure you'll also be the first one screaming bloody murder if transmen are forced to use the bathroom that matches their biological sex.

Here we go again, is calling people racist and bigots all the left have? After whining about having to work instead of being handed everything for free of course.
You are the side that preaches science, so why doesn't the simple science of XX and XY determine your bathroom add up to you? I can identify as Black or Hispanic vs Indian because more of my friends are the former, but I'm not, no matter how much I think I am.

Someone here appears to have learned to express
themselves at Trump University. Or maybe by listening
intently and repeatedly to the exalted one in his
public speaking. I wonder which they would choose
between electrocution or being eaten by a shark.
But be careful about any microphone he uses. At
least he might possibly be placated temporarily by
putting on particular music.

Convicted rapists - human guinea pigs for new and updated vaccines

There is neither a question nor a judgment of "truth" in this arena. & "entitlement" is a code word (as is "lifestyle" for that matter).
People simply are who they are -- unless they are doing someone harm. Beyond that, judgment simply does not come into question.
OTOH, Donald Trump is obviously a low-life. & he's obviously a crook as well. Are you really prepared to deny either of those statements, you who quotes Torah to characterize yourself?
I don't know you, but I read what you write here. You need to change your life, son, if you will forgive my presumption. If you are a Jew, well... there were Jews who supported Hitler too, believe it or not. If you're a Christian you might want to re-read the Beatitudes.

What should we do to people who oversimplify
and then once they believe something, can't
reevaluate their understanding in the face of
what, to them, is new knowledge or a better
interpretation of a given situation?

Like I said, I dont care about this trans issue vs the others I mentioned.
You mention as long as they're not doing someone harm, but pretty safe to assume you are pro-choice? So that harm to baby, the ultimate harm since its death, is okay in your eyes? But expecting someone to use the public restroom for their scientifically born gender is wrong? Okay, the verse you mock, saying your ancestors wrote, shows where morality stands on choosing life.
And the freebies all the left expect. I could def use refreshers on the beatitudes, I own that. But are you familiar with 2 Thessalonians 3? Here's a little tidbit via the MSG translation : "Don’t you remember the rule we had when we lived with you? “If you don’t work, you don’t eat.” And now we’re getting reports that a bunch of lazy good-for-nothings are taking advantage of you. This must not be tolerated. We command them to get to work immediately—no excuses, no arguments—and earn their own keep. Friends, don’t slack off in doing your duty."
Yea but we're talking judgments when you're doing just that. And I dont quote the torah.
