Kinda interesting trade just because of the one stat goober (Hollinger) trading a guy to another stat goober (Hinkie). Pre-draft, I had Wroten rated as a 2nd rounder. He has obvious ability, but he's a guy who needs to learn how to play.

Tonight. Do you think Maynor will ever have a triple-double as a Wizard? James Anderson also finally showing something also.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) Tony Wroten had his first career triple-double, James Anderson scored a career-high 36 points and Spencer Hawes made the go-ahead basket with 34 seconds left in overtime to help the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Houston Rockets 123-117 Wednesday night.

The Spurs should pick up Vesley when his rookie contract is over. The guy has good BBIQ, I feel like Pop could find a use for him. Signing him to a cheap two year deal with a team option on the second year could pay huge dividends for them.

Also, Shumpert may be just a 3rd year player, but he's 23 years old. 23-year-old shooting guards rarely improve all that much.

I think Shumpert for Booker is pretty close to equal value, and helps the front-court depth for NY. Denver has a TPE, so they could get Shumpert and Ariza and send Faried to the Wizards :)

Looks like the countdown to an Asik trade has officially begun. I still think he'd be a great fit in Atlanta so Horford can play PF. Milsap for Asik straight up? Milsap's been putting up good numbers so far, but I think Asik is a better fit.

It's funny how teams like the Pistons, and Cavs who we were worried about competing for a playoff spot with have struggled too and teams like the Sixers, Bobcats, and even the Celtics have been doing pretty decent.

MKG having a nice year two so far.

I noticed that as-well, the Cavs worked on rebuilding his shot this summer. I wonder how he is scoring?

If he gets is going, that draft class is looking pretty good. Specially the top 3

David
MKG
Beal

plus

Lillard
Drummonds

And Sully had a nice game last night. Looked pretty impressive. 26 pts 8 rebounds 2 ast 1 stl

Interesting that Asik is only getting mop up minutes in Houston's wipeout of Boston - as Terrance Jones has his best game as a pro - and Donatas gets the prime backup minutes behind Howard. Intrusting. Of course, now we have no chance of trading for Jones, but Asik....

Andre Drummond shooting 16.7% from the line - yet teams don't foul him. Why?

6ers sign Elliot Williams and Lorenzo Brown. With the Wiz lack of backcourt depth, they seriously need to keep Singleton on the roster and not sign someone who could help? I'm convinced Williams can play in the NBA.

Someone explain the Suns to me. They are 7th in the league in defensive rating and their top 8 minutes leaders are, in order: PJ Tucker, Miles Plumlee, Eric Bledsoe, Gerald Green, Channing Frye, Dragic, and the Morris twins.

Speaking of the Suns Gerald Green has been on fire, averaging 15 in only 27 minutes with a 65% TS.

I have been following him, he has been shooting quite well.

Great value signing - 3 years $10.5 mil > Webby at 4 years $22 million. D-League graduate.

Bledsoe is a freak of nature. Guy's arm length and stance on D Is Street Fighter Blanka-esque. The Morris twins, while extremely creepy, play pretty damn hard. I'm obviously going solely on what I've watched, but they seem highly highly energetic at all times and disruptive.

Quick look, opponents shoot poorly against them overall....and make very few three pointers especially. That's about as "advanced" as I can get with stats. :)

I think you jinxed him. MKG has been awful the last 5 games. It's hard to rebuild the epically bad form he had on his jump shot.

Is anyone still impressed with the Brooklyn roster? They're 3-10 with what's got to be the oldest roster in the NBA - and at least among the highest paid. And that's with the probably under-the-table deal (miniature giraffe farm?) that got them Kirilenko and great contract they got with the inspirational Andray Blatche.

I think the Bobcats are really interesting. They have got trade pieces (the Gordon expiring, the 2014 Detroit Pick, the 2014 Portland pick) to do some upgrading if they want to. I think the Bulls might get their pick this year since it is lotto protected.

^ Gordon+Biyombo+pick for Asik? Gives HOU an expiring and value for Asik, but I guess it depends on whether CHA things Jefferson can move to PF.

If Milwaukee's season is going down the drain, I wonder if they deal Ilyasova. He would make a lot of sense in Houston(for Asik), although the Bucks probably want to move Asik to a 3rd team.

Agreed:
Asik from Houston to third team
Illyasova from Milwaukee to Houston
Third team: guard to Milwaukee
