When has there been questions about Ben Simmons work ethic and effort? Simmons is probably one of the top 3 defenders in the nba and is a game changer on that end. In fact, his effort defensively is actually what makes Philly a decent team. I would take that every day over Beals poor body language and sulking.
The same questions that have existed since he was a draft prospect? His own teammates in Australia said he was a douchebag this isn’t new5. The concerns about Simmons' character didn't magically appear the moment he arrived on campus in Baton Rouge. Those sentiments also have been expressed by members of the Australian national team who have spent time with him at the junior and senior levels. Australian players and coaches who have been around him don't speak about him in flattering terms, calling him the Yank to highlight how different he is compared with most of the players from that country, and perhaps highlight how much moving to the United States at a young age and immersing himself in the AAU world has shaped him. Those who know him best say he needs things to revolve around him on and off the court and that he's often been close-minded to coaching or instruction. Can all this be blamed on LSU? Check out the mentality section of Simmons' weaknesses breakdown in a video Mike Schmitz created prior to this season. - Source: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Ben-Simmons-61928/ ©DraftExpress
My guy, Simmons said himself that he struggled with staying in love with the game of basketball..why is a 23 year old already saying this

So what are you telling me right now.. you trust him to be the leader/franchise player of a successful rebuild on a team he doesn’t want to play for ? Lol. Enough of this
The article you linked was very positive about him - with him saying he fell in love with basketball. He matured in his early 20's - how shocking. He's probably going to make the first team All-Defensive team. How could he do that with a bad attitude?
Right.... This guy with his "terrible attitude" is one of the very top players in the NBA.
I love Brad Beal, but he's not in the same class with Ben Simmons. Not remotely. John Wall has been (& hopefully will be again) an outstanding NBA player, but he's not in the same class with Ben Simmons either. Not remotely in his case either.
You know who we can say with confidence is a better basketball player than Ben Simmons? It's a short list: Giannis, LeBron, Jimmy Butler, & maybe Luka Doncic. That's about it.
Should we trade Brad Beal for Ben Simmon if such a deal is available? Of course!
