Definitely Sacramento. Denver maybe my #2. Knicks just because I think the Knicks are hilarious. Steven A would lose his mind. Jimmy Butler is easy to root for, even if I'm rooting against Miami.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Curry, at age 35, just had one of the greatest Game 7's in playoff history. 50 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 turnover. He got very little help from the rest of his team except Looney (who had an incredible 10 offensive boards). Thompson was 4-19. Wiggins was 5-16. Poole 3-9. But Steph carried them anyway.

But hey, you know, at least we got that one pretty good season out of Mike Miller.

^^ for sure on curry. Life and EG hangover led me to apathy towards the NBA in general so I haven’t watched many games in the last 10 years, but I caught this game and Jimmy Butlers 56 game 4. Will tune in more to the conference semis.

Ernie on the trade:
"We feel good about this trade," Grunfeld said after pulling off arguably his third-biggest deal with the organization, behind the acquisitions of eventual all-stars Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler. "I thought, we get two rotation players who are proven commodities and proven they can play at this level."

Harden came-through big, Philly steals the game in the final 2 minutes.

We need Harden to carry Philly as they beat Boston, and then for Harden to flake out again and go back to Houston. That will just about cement both Philly and Boston as Beal suitors.

6ers (last title '83). I was born in Camden NJ so there's that.

BOS? Never.

I normally am strongly against the Knicks but their last title was '73 (further back than the Bullets!).
Brunson amazes me. How does he do it? MIA is an interesting team. Butler has incredible will to win.
That said, MIA is a bit perplexing to me as they depend so heavily on just Butler and Bam.
Okay, Lowry too, despite what I said earlier. They demonstrate what really good mgmt can do
for a franchise.

DEN, I like them. I like CO (the state). They've never won. I wouldn't mind at all if they did.

PHO has also never won. If they earn it, I would be happy for them. CP3 has always been
annoying to me. But I will concede he's annoyingly good even if he's past his prime to be sure.

Lakers-Dubs - I love watching Steph play. Who doesn't? Labron has aged well for me.
But I'd rather see the Dubs win.

Mostly want good competitive games in every series. Let the chips fall where they may.

Shaq was right at halftime. Boston effed around for too long. How can you shoot that
well and not put a team away. The 2 halves were so different. No D in the 1st. Poor O in the
second.

Philly was resourceful and Harden was obviously vintage. Lots of key contributions
down the bench for Philly in the absence of Embiid. It doesn't take a rocket scientist
to realize without Embiid, that's what they will need...for Harden to be great and
to get nice contributions from just about everyone else.

BOS is the best place to practice schadenfreude mostly because of the Cs.
Love their marathon. Bruins-C's on back to back nights at the Gahden. Ouch.

Was blown away by Joker’s brilliance. Carrying an extremely mediocre roster to championship contention. Dominated that game.

Aaron Gordon’s defense on KD was also outstanding. It’s a very strange year with no clear favorite and a bunch of evenly matched teams. Been really fun to watch.

Lakers-GS is going to be great. Klay&Poole are bad enough to play GS right out of the series, Steph is good enough to carry them to the win. Anthony Davis is the major swing factor.

Knicks will come back and beat the Heat. Knicks-Celtics ECF. Denver-GS in the West.

My two favorite players are Steph and Jokic, so I'm rooting for the Warriors and the Nuggets. I must admit, as a long time Miami Heat hater, I am being won over by the incredible will of Jimmy Buckets. I won't be upset if he somehow wins a title, though I don't think it's possible given their talent level.

Mostly, I just want the Lakers to lose. I will root against them in every round, no matter who the opponent is.

I’m rooting for the Nuggets and Knicks. Both teams have a core of players that were drafted outside of the top 5. Jokic is the best player I have ever seen. Murray does nothing but play winning basketball, even if he isn’t some high end all star talent. He just makes the right play and plays hard.

The Knicks went from a total joke of a franchise, to having a real shot at making it to the finals. Miami is very beatable, especially with Butler’s injury, and Boston shouldn’t be scary at all. Brunson was a great signing, Hart was a great trade. Quickley and Robinson were terrific draft picks at 25&36 respectively. Toppin has also turned into a solid player.

In the West, rooting for Steph, rooting for Jokic. Can't root for Lakers. Phoenix has three players that I don't like: KD, CP3, and Booker so they can go kick rocks.

In the East, love Jimmy Buckets but can't root for Miami. Not going to root for them but won't be mad if they win. Can't root for the Knicks - too many Dookies on the squad (RJ and Cam, yuck). I like Brunson, Randle, Hartenstein, and Mitchell Robinson though, so won't be mad if they win. Like Embiid, probably the only team I'd actively root for in the East. And Boston can get swept. F them.

Knicks traded Cam Redddish (and Knox and a pick) for Hart.

As much as Dillon Brooks sucks, I think the Wizards should consider signing him. They need a dog on the wings. Right now, this is the softest wing rotation in the league. They need someone with some fire that is willing to defend the opposing team's best player.
