KS NENE vesely are ALREADY 3 GUYS VERY IMPRESSIVE IN THE PAINT WHO CAN Hold
THE COMPARISON FOR NEXT YEAR WITH THE 3 GUYS OF UTAH BIG AL MILLSAP AND FAVORS. it's great for the Wiz who has totaly change his roster on the current season in the paint and in much better. ByE BYE Mcgee and Blatch guys who don't have the good mentality to be effective and leaders and welcome for Seraphin and nene who are real offensive threat and solid defenders in the paint and with a percentage of shooting highly over 50%. And what about the end of season of Vesely who is so athletic for his 6.11 and has a great futur in this league with great ability in offensive and defensive rebounds.
Some great perspective in the paint to add with Wall who has now a solid and clearly definished front court and can really dishes a lot of assist in the paint and still be a scorer and he has really impressed whith his ability to run cost to cost, he is very very spectacular but also effective in his game which is the most important.
I think for the draft if they can't have Davis, a good shooter from the field who has the ability to catch and shoot at 45 % and to make some 3pointers would be the better option and also who is able to defend good. Harrison Barnes, gilchrist, bradley beal.
To finish i would just say that what has really improve lately the Wiz in this season is the complementarity of Nene ks, and ves (singleton)who are the main reason of the good results because without some solid big guys whith at least 6.11 for nene and VES and 270lbs like Seraphin you have no chance to win in long terms, it's just impossible. And now Wiz is a candidate for the playoffs if they continue to defend well.

Absolutely. The jump hooks and the face up jumper are nice, but the need to be complements to an offensive game that include Kevin using his physicality to get to the rim and the free throw line. He draws way too few fouls.

And he's got to hit the boards.

Great season, though. I am looking forward to his continued growth.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a player improve so dramatically during a season, and the great thing is - he's still got room to improve dramatically next season - with the body sculpting, working on rebounding, and working on going to the basket harder.

He was probably this good the whole time but he didn't get any time under Flip and perhaps the game finally slowed down for him.

Is he playing this summer? He is going to come back in September a different guy IMO. Hopefully he refines his offense and improves on the boards...

Kevin will no-doubt make the French Olympic team, so this will be good for him/us.

It was hard to get playing time - in part - because he was averaging nealy 8 fouls per 40 minutes. In the Consor interview previously mentioned, it was said he's got a group of personal trainers working closely with him that already got his weight down 20 lbs during the season, and they plan to have him in much much better shape for the start of next season.

He had 12/5 against Philly in only 22 minutes back in January. He played 5 minutes total the next 4 games.

KS posted some news about him on his blog => http://www.lequipe.fr/Basket/Actualites ... son/281212

"Happy with my season

This second NBA season has been eventful. I was frustrated and disappointed at first, then satisfied and happy especially when I had the opportunity to play. Between the first and the second part of the season, it was the day and night! At the end of this season, I'm still happy. I proved that I have the skills to play in NBA and I could become an important part of a franchise. It took time, but my work has paid off.

I learned a lot during the last ten months through the various experiences I had. The Eurobasket played with the French team has been one of the trigger of my season. It was extremely interesting to do the training camp, to live with the team, and spend some times with experienced players such as Tony Parker. Playing some minutes during the competition allowed me to put me in confidence.

My experience in Vitoria has also been an interesting experience. This is a legendary club, an institution of European basketball. It gave me the opportunity to work with one of the greatest personalities of basketball, Dusko Ivanovic. This is a very demanding coach, but the results speak for him. He really helped me during the few weeks I spent in the Basque Country. Occasionally, I imagine how my last NBA season would be if I played in the month of December, when I was in great shape after my return from Europe. But hey, it is useless to dwell on the past ...

After my experience in Victoria, I thought I would play more in Washington. Despite a training camp during which I showed to my advantage, coach Flip Saunders left me on the bench. All the confidence, that I gained during the past few months in Europe, has disappeared in few weeks. During this time, I really doubted. But I could not give up. Randy Wittman, who is currently the coach of the team but that was already the assistant of Flip Saunders early in the season told me not to let go. I followed his advice. So I decided to keep working hard until the coach gave the opportunity. At that time, I didn't know that it was Randy who would help me to do such a good second half of the season ...

The eviction of Flip Saunders has changed everything. With Randy Wittman, my playing time has increased. From his first practice, he clearly said: everyone would have his chance. He has given me the playing time and I was able to start my season. The trigger has been the performance that I has produced against the Lakers with my 14 points and 9 rebounds. During this match, I felt good and it allowed me to regain confidence in me. Subsequently, the coach continued to trust me and the management has conducted trades that allowed me to enjoy a interesting playing time. Today I can say, coach Wittman was the savior of my season! I owe him a lot and I really want him as the head coach for the next season. This is largely thanks to him that I could make a good season. I know I will have to confirm next year, people will expect a lot from me, but I would be ready for the challenge.

About my game, I think I improved on several levels. I worked my technique, my offensive moves left hand for example. Now, I have some offensive movements. I am also better at reading the game but I still have to improve my game and, for example, my rebound.

After a few days off, I came back to training with my physical trainer before leaving for France next Sunday. I also planned to spend a few days in French Guyana before the end of the month. My season, I hope, is far from over. I will continue to prepare myself in the context of the placement of the France team for Olympics. This is my priority for the coming weeks. I may be able to compete in the Olympics and I will give everything to try to be part of the roster. In conclusion, I give you my prediction for the NBA playoffs: I see a Oklahoma City Thunder - Miami Heat final. But be careful with San Antonio which could produce some good games in the Western Conference!

Wow. Powerful words from Seraphin. Sounds like Flip was an absolute disaster for Seraphin's development, and Wittman was awesome. With endorsements like this from his players, it's going to be awful tough to dump Wittman in favor of a guy like D'Antoni.

So CCJ was right all along, Flip was hurting the big man's development. He was just talking about the wrong player.

You're welcome! Yes I did the translation. I hope that Randy will stay as a head coach. He did a good job and there is a good chemistry between him and KS. KS can be a 15-10 player and he can still improve (he only began to play bball in 2004 ...). I think that he'll play some minutes during the olympics in order to win the gold medals :) With Olympics and the off season, KS will be a different and better player!

Thanks for posting this.

Keveen giving Randy some serious props. I told you'll he was a good fit for these players. The mutual respect they seem to have for one another is something we haven't had in a long long time.

Why anyone would want to risk a change of coach at this point makes no sense to me.

I sure hope Ted is reading all this stuff. Wall gave his props as well.

Next thing he needs to focus on is beasting on the boards. He has all the physical tools to do it. I expect he will come back more physical next year.

I remember before the season started there were lot of people that had already given up on him. People were throwing him in trade as chump change.

Year 1 he was in a lot of foul trouble. But that wasn't all his fault. He got a lot of fouls when setting picks because the guards would not wait long enough for the pick to get set. Other fouls came because he was physical and the ref gave the rookie no love. This year, fouls were not a problem.

So now that the refs know who he is better, he should be able to slowly bring more of that physical element onto the court.

I believe the defense was the reason for the Wizards win in the last 6 games. D'Antonio is an offensive minded coach and I wouldn't want that to interfere with what already has been instilled in this team. I'm all for bringing Wittman back next season.

Eviction. That is very harsh. I never cared for his approach or his coaching but I just wanted him fired a long time ago.

Not only did they kick him to the curb, but you mean to tell me the Wizards also put all of Flip's stuff out by the curb
! :o
