What was Giannis like 4 games into his second season?

If Alex looks this good now, imagine how he'll look by the end of this season. We may need to bring back Johnny Davis to get our double tank right.

Assuming Kwame 30/18 is second youngest.

What a game by Sarr

Last year 17% of his shot attempts were at the rim. So far this year that's up to 31%.

The future is bright for him. I am going to nit-pick a bit here. He still seems a bit afraid of contact. There were several drives to the basket in that video where the layup or dunk is available to him, but instead, he stops short and does a double-head pump fake thingy.

Old habits are hard to break. He is taking big steps in the right direction but occassional relapses should be expected.

Taking you at face value, Alcindor was leading UCLA
to a title IIRC. 3 years later an NBA Chip.

Agreed, but I think his confidence will grow in that department as he fills out his frame.
He's a thin/high waisted big that has been pushed around by grown men the last couple years, so his game has been more finesse. Lets see if that changes over the next 18-24 months as he puts on weight and gets stronger in his core.

I agree that Sarr will likely be much more willing to attack the basket as he gets stronger.

It’s a good thing that he’s developing moves in the low post and doesn’t have to get to the rim to score. These moves will continue to be important and valuable even as Sarr gets stronger and more physical.

Very encouraging to see him get stuffed by Embiid, then regroup, and immediately go back up strong and dunk it. Last year, I don't think he makes that play. He was easily flustered last season, but now we are seeing him more calm and collected.

He’s looking to me like a blend of the best skills from both Andray Blanche & Javale McGee.

Yeah seriously. Shades of Duckworth's post game and Michael Ruffin's energy level, no?

Baltche was skilled but skinnyfat and lazy. McGee was insanely athletic but until late in his career he pretty much lived on Shaqtin a Fool. I guess skilled plus super athletic are good things but I can't think of two guys more tainted by recent So Wiz sadness than these two.

NWR, thank you for pointing out a huge reason for Wizards fans to be thankful. Alex is definitely better.
