Wall and Booker are the only guys worth a damn on this team.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was someplace we could send Vesely to learn how to play better? Some kind of league for, you know, development of basketball players.

Just getting caught up on the game tape.

wow. Dirk was unstoppable. Dude was MVP of a title last year and he had it stroking. No one can stop him when he is doing that.

Just watching the game, end of the third and before even reading a bit of this game thread and I can't for the life of me understand how Blatche is seeing even a minute of playing time. The guy is just atrocious.

Also can somebody please tell me why on earth Seraphin can't score a god damn minute of playing time with this ridiculous mess of a front court?

Last night wasn't a well-coached game on Witt's part. We had them in foul-trouble when we started to post them up.

Vesely hass one above-average NBA skill: the ability to defend the pick and roll. Basically, he's a weaker Michael Ruffin.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that we could have signed a guy off-off one of the Euro-League teams that offers exactly what Ves offers (Good PNR defense) w/o using a high lottery pick.

It's not as-if Vesely is attempting and failing to score. If it ain't a dunk, he's passing that ball.

Yes. Remember this was the last game before the trade deadline......at least i hope that was the reason.

Between trade deadline and tanking you can never really judge the line up every game. I will be really happy once we get past this stage of the rebuild.

Two more days to go for the trade deadline at least.

+1

Wittman allowed Crawford to shoot them out of the game from the perimeter. Blatche also took many shots from the perimeter and played matador defense. I cannot understand why Seraphin didn't play. Wittman does not hold Wall accountable for playing horrible defense. Beaubois had Wall watching him go by and it appeared Wall gave up on a couple plays. Wall gave a very poor effort but there are never any consequences from Wittman when he does.

This coach only has one whipping boy, same as Flip.

Wall leads this team in +/-. That's why he gets the benefit of the doubt. "Whipping boy" is near the bottom in +/-, so maybe Randy Wittman isn't the idiot you guys think he is.

The game was poorly coached and guards were not held accountable.

You put a lot into starting something TGW, but I won't take the bait.

Where are you getting your numbers from? I have Seraphin leading the team in +/-. I wonder how much of that is due to garbage time/small sample size and how much of that is due to his ability on the court.

PopcornMachine has JaVale dead last at -10.6, with Wall second at -10.5 (on a per-game basis.)

I don't count Turiaf and NDyaie for obvious reasons.

That popcornmachine link is outdated, sashae.

that said, what are the chances of that happening?

I was wondering how Chris woulda done. Put the shorter Book on Matrix,
put the slightly longer Singleton on Dirk. Probably wouldn't have mattered...
