Yeah, it over.

They fought but you can't go down like that.

Nene got his first start of the year though. Randy did a lot better with the line ups.
But Nene started like crap and so did Beal. Beal was 0-5 from 3

Kevin played a mostly stupid game.

They got crushed on the glass. Kevin with 2 rebounds

Crawford finally got to the line a lot. First quarter he had 1 pt. Ended the game with 21

Charlie V always seems to crush us.

The difference between the Pistons and the Wizards is they can make shots.

Stuckey can shoot and he can drive and score. Charlie V can score from anywhere. Greg Monroe isn't hobbled like Nene. Daye came in and today efficiently scored. Bynum is a hustle player.

At the other end, Beal can't shoot from outside yet. Seraphin is a low IQ player and a lately very inefficient. Okafor and Vesely are self checks. Webster is anemic and not what I had hoped. He is what his career stats say. Cartier is hit and miss, with not much else to his game. Shaun Livingston is another self check.

The one Wizard who is truly good is truly damaged goods. Nene. Wall and Booker the next best players are out.

What a team. Another loss. Oh, well. Hopefully, I can enjoy the local college games tonight here in HI.

As usual, with Nene on the floor, the team is decent... +4 on the night. When he sat, the team was -13.

Beal played almost 44 minutes and the Wizards were -16 with him on the court. They were +7 in the 4 minutes that he sat.

This lost is not Beal fault.

Aww man, I fell asleep watching this...we had just 2 points midway through the first quarter or something like that. I just wish Ernie would be fired already. At least, show us that you are trying to move this franchise forward. Tanking for draft picks has been shown not to be a good way to rebuild, and we've been doing that for the past 6-7 years. Time to blow up this roster, everyone is available. I don't see a single player to build on, on this roster. ****

Beal just flat out needs to find a way to get assertive when the game gets close.

Somehow that game was not nearly as close as the score indicates. Just an abysmal performance except for a few possessions where the Pistons forgot how to play basketball.

Is there a more frustrating player on this team then Kevin S

Sometimes he plays like he can be a dominate player. Then he trears off a streak of game that make you want to :banghead:

2 and 3 rebound game are inexcusable.

And as much as a really like Webster interview, he has to be more consistent. Just can't go 1-6 in 30 minutes and only get 2 FTAs

And whatever happen that they got away from Martin while he was on fire was stupid.

Teds take will talk about the fight we had after getting blown on Friday even though we did get Nene and Beal back. If losing 2 games to the Horrid Pistons isnt enough to fire ernie, i dont know what is

This started out as a HORRIBLE game. The Wiz and PIstons could not hit anything for the first couple of minutes during the game...geez

Beal is getting better. I was beginning to hate the pick, but he is starting to get confidence...maybe just maybe his shot will fall.

I'm tired of the Wiz shooting 3's. They miss them all the time and Beal is starting to get into a habit of launching threes and missing....I guess that is why he is a Wizard.

I don't care what anyone says...Veseley does so many little things right during a game. I was shocked he got so much playing time, but he sets picks, jumps higher than everyone on the court, and he hustles. I think given the right role, he can be serviceable.

There were few people at the game. I'm sure Ted is getting the message, However if you have not seen it, this is ted's 10 point plan: http://www.hogshaven.com/2009/2/26/7729 ... es-his-ten
What sucks the most is that a DMC trade will not happen because of #7. They need to take a huge chance. Drummand...is going to be a beast in a few years, shame we didn't draft him.

Hey, if youre going to tank, tank early and build a cushion. We just knocked DET right out of the park. 6 game cushion now.

We really need to lose to Cleveland next game if we want to do this right.

Charlotte is making this really tough. Man they are terrible. So is NO

Absolutely no worries.. The Wiz got this, hands down!! Problem is, all the tank in the world aint gonna matter as long as EG is picking the players.. They gonna suck forever!!

With the #2 pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards select.... Olexived Shostkovich from Siberia! He is a a 6'10" SF who started playing basketball last year. His coach in Russia says, "He hustle very hard. Bring a lot of energy, can dribble with both hands, jump high. Shoot set shot with both hands too. Can chop tree with axe for firewood, keep house warm. Good character."

The Wizards are masters of deceit to fool everyone into thinking they are worse than those teams. If Leonsis hadn't instructed his subordinates to tank, they'd be winning a whole lot more games.

Good thing we're tanking. I can't wait to have the first pick in one of the worst draft classes in the past 15 years

I don't think we're tanking, unless Nene and Wall are actually 100% healthy. We are genuinely just bad.

Return to Washington Wizards
