He should have his team prepared at home. If you noticed the team sleep walks through the 1st half at home then plays catch up. A smart coach would bench players that aren't giving maximum effort to send a signal to the rest of the team.

OK, we'll agree to disagree on that one :)

Leading up to that lucky press-breaking dunk by Nene, I was having terrible flashbacks to 2001. With Dunleavy & Boozer in the ridiculous comeback against my Terps... cringe.

Fairly well played game. Walls turnovers are definitely a concern.

Odd that Ves, Porter and KS haven't played.

Snell really impressed me for the Bulls. Looks like an athletic cheap 3&D defender. With Beal getting increased PT, where is Porter going to get some minutes to develop?

Solid effort overall. Good to see some entertaining, winning Wizards basketball. Lots to worry about, but hey, we're fans of Washington basketball; what else is new?

Solid win with 8 players. I don't know how you sit Seraphin after that performance against the Rockets but there's no doubt, Witt was feeling some heat to win this game and didn't trust Ves and Kev against that frontcourt. Don't know why they can't play with that kind of effort and intensity at home. There is no excuse and it starts not just with Witt but the so called-leaders on this team Wall and Nene. Starting Nene is fine and will help them start off better at home but you still have to regulate his minutes, esp. on back-to-backs.

The other team tries too. The Bulls were playing good basketball and will be in the playoffs barring another injury or trade. Good win. It's never going to be pretty against that team.

the recent losses and especially the Rox loss maybe the best thing to ever happen to us. We were getting too much of a false sense of this Nene off the bench stuff. You need your best guys out there. At one point we had the #4 rated starting unit in the whole league. #4. Better than all those West power houses. The problem was that it was more than offset by having the worst bench in the league at the time but now we are healthy and bench guys were able to start sometimes so they are better and we can somewhat trust the bench now. I would love to see how we improve with Nene back in and all these home games coming up

I spoke too soon. I like the way the Wiz closed out and our defense was solid.. But we are still a team that relies too heavily on streaky shooting to keep us in it.

8 players is up my alley. Thats what I have always beleive in. Definitely no more than 9 but Id probably rather have 8. I believe in just a core group getting big minutes. I think that sets the best chemistry and I think the 3 or 4 bench players produce better when given bigger minutes
