Re: Political Roundtable Part XXVII
Da1's stance on trans-BR issues is another example of his opinions and beliefs getting
priority over empirical facts. Trans people don't want to use the BRs they want to use
in order to satisfy some perverse sexual desire. He and folks who think like this are
confusing sex with excretory functions. They neither understand nor wish to learn the
truth about transexuality. In most cases, they are determined to remain unenlightened.

Derailing but okay. They’re easy. They’re slutty. They got pregnant with some random guy. Or, selfishly, they ran out to the sperm bank when they turned forty. It’s their fault.
They’re always broke. They’re on welfare. They’re sponging off the taxpayers. They should work for a living, and, simultaneously, they should stay home with their kids. Whatever they do, it’s never as good as what a married mom does. Ever. It’s their fault.
Is that a Da1 quote? If so, way to use the archives.
There is a major intersection where Pro-Choice Street and Single Mom Destigmatization Avenue meet. It's called Democratic Voters Plaza. Do you drive, Da1?
Is that really his quote? What a tool.

If that quote is accurate he's entering some whacked out SD20 territory.
President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

He's made a perfectly reasonable argument for discriminating against an entire class of people based upon what he personally thinks some people (who may not even be members of that class) might do.
He and folks who think like this are confusing sex with excretory functions.
Sex and excretory functions are sometimes lumped together as both often produce feelings of shame for some people.
They neither understand nor wish to learn the truth about transexuality. In most cases, they are determined to remain unenlightened.
No argument there.
There's a unisex bathroom right by my old Wizards seats. I always went there. Encountered women and girls. No one freaks out. The vast majority of people you encounter in a bathroom are there for the same reason you are (except Terd, who is checking the urinal cakes).

Antiquated and irrelevant in America. Dirt posted this article specific to Romania as if the same holds true for America

Well, I guess we'll all wait for dck to weigh in. He's probably out canvassing. I'll get back to the Andy Griffith Show. It's Ernest T. Bass all week.

If you actually knew science behind transgender people, you would understand how effective sex change has become. You are literally the one who preach 40 year old guys with beards use same bathrooms as 8 year old girls. You are getting it backwards, but of course your scientific reasoning is that transgender person is just a guy in a drag, so you are basically not only clueless, but incredibly offensive as well.
You seem to be taking this issue personally for no reason. It's simple though, its a bathroom, with respect to the transgendered, go ahead and have your change and be who you feel you have the right to be. No one is taking away any vital rights form you. But when it comes to public restrooms, it should be mandated they use the restroom of the gender they were born into. A predator could easily manipulate these new laws to harm someone. Of course it can happen in any scenario with the same sex, but no reason to open up another possibility just to be politically correct when there's no need to be.
So, you are perfectly fine with men use same bathrooms as women, if it means by small chance it cuts off pervert in drag? Thats a weird reasoning, next time you see bearded guy use womens bathroom, you better know that its your idea. Its a too ways to look at this, you either not threatened by transgender men, which is fine, and dont believe any of them could mean danger, or... you dont really acknowledge those men as men.
And I completely understand your stance on abortions, personally I disagree with you, but I dont think theres a black or white stance here. But you believe yourself to be morally superior just because you against abortion, and at the same time you rep party thats doing their best keeping NRA values in place and that cheers for politicians who commits the most death penalties, so do tell me more how morally pro life you are.
I'm not sure you gathered what I was saying. What I meant was why does a man who feels they are a woman, or vice verse need to use the bathroom of their preferred gender? Using a public bathroom of the gender you think you are is not some inalienable right, just go do your business and be done with it. There's no reason a girl should have to share a bathroom with a man, or a boy with a woman. The world's not going to end for the trans world if they have to use the bathroom of the gender they were not born into. But people can exploit these laws, I didnt say the trans in general, i mean predators who can use these unnecessary laws as loopholes to gain entry into places they otherwise wouldnt. Again, its easy to mitigate that risk by just mandating ppl use their gender born restroom facility, no harm, no foul. This is not inhumane at all.

Again, never said trans are the ones who will use it for perverse desires, it cna be exploited by others. Though what one finds perverse is subjective, but thats another story. I was calling out the subject you always bring up when talking about climate change, abortion, heck even drug use, science. But you throw anatomy out the window when it comes to bathroom use for the transgendered, it another example of the have your cake and eat it to stance the left is so infamous for

So in order to protect people from non-trans people exploiting protections for transgenders, we need to discriminate against transgenders? Who are we protecting and how again? Do you honestly believe that which bathroom transgenders are legally allowed to use is going to have any bearing whatsoever on whether or not someone else disguises themselves to use a different washroom?

Im saying is the world going to end if a trans person has to use the bathroom of their actual gender? Since when is using the public bathroom of your choosing, a right?
Again, brought this up to speak on hypocrisy. last time I checked, Anatomy is science, so dont ignore this science but sing science to the hills when it comes to other matters

Yeah I guess if one disagrees with you they are a fool and ignorant. Yet once more, you dont even mention the science of anatomy/biology though science is your thing.

Let's see, what in the world do you even mean, the science of anatomy when you
are talking about transgendered people?
This sounds more and more like you 'reasoning' behind your defense of the EC.

Has the world come to an end without such a ban? I don't understand your oddly placed double-standard. I don't thing this offers the kind of solution you're suggesting. How many protests are we going to see if a transgender female to male who also happens to be over six feet tall enters a women's washroom dressed as a man. I haven't seen any evidence at all to suggest that transgenders are some sort of public safety risk. I've seen a fair amount of evidence to suggest that men sometimes attack women in women's washrooms. It's not about all men but I don't really understand why we keep targeting a different group than the one that causes the most problems. It's counterintuitive. Or to be fair, I do understand why, which makes it less counterintuitive but more problematic.
Anatomy is definitely science. And as with all science, there's always more to it. Forcing someone to identify a certain way can definitely be problematic. And yes, it can be used as a shield of sorts, so let's go after the people who use it as a shield. This idea that we can just cut something open and know exactly what we're looking at without even bothering to understand the complexities of what we're looking at is a great way to feel smarter than we actually are. For the record, I don't even know what is or isn't the best solution. Looking for a solution to a problem that nobody has is either ridiculous, or a cover for something else.

Shouldn't we have a sex test for everyone who enters a public bathroom? If a female enters a lady's room, how do we know she's not a lesbian. A lesbian might be a predator in a lady's room! Test them!!!

Sorry, had to wait until the Get Smart episode was over. Then my cone of silence got stuck...
Anyway, my quote was just the general stigma that single mothers still live with. I have coached hundreds of kids from single moms - that stigma is still there. It shouldn't be since we are in the 2xxx. But it is still alive and kicking.
But that point was just an attempt at derailing the obvious. The current plan is working - and there is no plan from the other side other than another possible war on X (drugs, petty crime, etc.) that has failed miserably.
