Re: Political Roundtable Part XXXIII
I mean, if the shooter had no political affiliation, how do we know he wasn't hired by JD Vance?

The chatter is Biden will be leaving the race soon.
President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

They are asking him to, hopefully he is realizing that it’s over for him and will step down, hopefully somehow they get new candidates and enough time to stop the Trump train, he has the air of inevitability right now.

My choice.
Kamala Harris.
VP candidates: JB Pritzker (Illinois Gov), Roy Cooper (NC Gov) and Andy Beshear (Kentucky Gov).
That's off the top of my head.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXXIII
Replacing Biden with a young, energetic, exciting new shiny candidate would be all the MSM would talk about for MONTHS. It would suck all the air right out of the GOP's usual master manipulation of it. I don't know how much that matters, but there it is. Everyone who hates Trump is going to vote for whomever the Dems put up there and a younger, pro-Palestinier candidate could energize younger voters. I say go for it. I don't like Biden that much anyway.

If this was the case you’d have President Hillary Clinton. No one has started voting and polls 4 months from an election within the margin of error shouldn’t cause the freak out we’re seeing.
You guys are falling for the same trap the media is falling for that elections are based on media narratives instead of the actual hard work of building campaign infrastructure, building coalitions and making sure your base first and foremost turns out. Replacing Biden is going to have all of the effects you believe it will….

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXXIII
Biden has to drop out.
Losing every swing state.
Now even losing Virginia.
Two thirds of democrats want him to drop out.
Only 27% of democrats confident he is mentally fit to be president.
Has mild case of Covid and can barely walk.
Money is drying up. Donors are reluctant to encourage Biden to stay in the race.
OTOH who the f wants Kamala Harris? But I have the feeling she’ll be the nominee. I hope they open everything up at the convention instead of back room deals.

I never understood Biden’s appeal.
Plagiarism.
Anita Hill.
Draft dodger. (So was I but at least I was against the war)
Mass incarceration.
Forever war on drugs.
Botched Afghanistan withdrawal.
Only one in the room to vote “no” on mission to get Osama bin Ladin.
I was amazed by the fact checking done by the Post after his interview with Lester Holt that supposedly showed his foreign policy expertise. His “expertise” just full of distortions.
He created an image that must have appealed to many, but he’s just an empty suit politician with his finger in the air to figure out his position.

Harris is a bad candidate and very unpopular, the best outcome would be an open convention with new candidates, this would energize/motivate voters.
