Yikes. He's probably done for the season if that's the case.

OK, Ernie is talking with Chris Miller right now.

Arenas is having an MRI on Tuesday with the possibility of playing on Wednesday against Orlando.

It looks like the MRI is just to make sure everything's good to go. At least that's what I took from it.

Okay why would you assume that he is re-hurt by him having an MRI? Doesn't make sense to me.

I think its time for arenas to show that he can do more for his team than chauncy...at least get us to the championship before demanding a max contract. Chauncy lead his team to a championship and finals and still stayed loyal to his team and didn't try to kill the key's salary cap structure and keep important pieces in place for them to remain a dynasty. Is gilbert a hero for wizards, not when you realize he hasn't lead them to finals.

Conspiracy Theory of the Day: Deshawn's trash-talking war with Lebron [which just got hotter] is Stevenson's way of luring Gil back on to the court, on the theory that Gil couldn't sit out a first round playoff series with Cleveland if there was a war of words in addition to the war on the court.

Discuss as you wish.

He's already done it. It should not take this long to get the results back.

According to Ivan Carter, Gil passed the MRI.

Everything is healed and is healing properly, and doctors want him to go stronger in practice.

Gill will test it out in practice tonight.

Man that sucks. They're pretty much saying "don't come back this year."

That stinks...how's this kid gonna get a max contract?

This would be so much easier if he had shut his trap about opting out.

Here's what Gilbert should do:

-Don't come back.
-Pick up your option.

That's it. This shouldn't even be that big of a deal but since he said he's opting out every 2 months, he has no choice but to do it.

To be fair, Gil has just been consistently saying the same thing all year. It's not his fault that some unprepared reporters keep asking the same questions that he's answered before and then write his response like it's urgent breaking news.

Nevermind. Ivan fixed his blog. The results were "positive" as in good positive and not the medical positive.

Had me scared for a second.
