I don't think AFM could handle having Big Balls and Jason Smith on the same team.

What's up with Jarrett Jack?

Heard Kevin Sheehan on 980 mention him about a week ago as a guy he'd love to add to the Wizard's bench. Looks like he's also out of the league right now...

Jordan Crawford is a sad case of bone head syndrome and Jerret Jack was cut at the beginning of the season, because he was not ready to come back yet, they said hes ready to make a return but No one really knows how ready or in shape he is. . .

I hate that dude so much.
But there is something there.
I would do
Burke,Thornton, house to lakers with a 2019 first.
and
Nicholson and a 2018 second and Aaron white.

For Lou and Morris.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

yeah I'm not against acquiring Marcus and Lou, but imagine the lakers get oubre from us for Lou straight up, and the pistons getting our 1st in exchange for morris. ugh

Whitacre's deal is obviously garbage, but I'd love Marcus Morris as a guy off the bench. He's been a plus defender this year, is a decent enough three point shooter to keep defenses honest, and gives us another body to throw at Lebron (if we get that far). Most importantly, he's locked in at $5M/year through 2019, which is amazing value.

Nicholson and a 2018 first for Lou and the #33 (second rounder). Lakers would decline if they were an ordinary team, but we have leverage because they absolutely must give themselves the best odds they can to keep this pick. They basically get better lottery odds and swap a 2nd for a first in this deal.

From there I'd swap two second rounders and Smith for Marcus. But I don't know if they'd accept that deal. Marcus has strange value. Should we do this deal, we'd have basically the best kind of second you can get (top 3 second in a good draft) and a late second, AND Smith who is also on a reasonable contract. Marcus clearly isn't worth a first but has more value than a second. I think they'd decline even though I think the deal I offer (two seconds and Smith) is probably fair value.

Sorry but you don't have any leverage. Lakers have history of not trading good players for draft picks. Pau & others. We just let them walk instead of taking crappy deals.

Let alone take below average or worse contracts

lol Lakers doesn't have to do anything, they're losing with or without Williams. Lakers will hang up the phone laughing at this offer. Telling them to add their early second is hilarious. Do you really expect them to accept a bad contract and a future late first?

Williams is on a dirt cheap contract. They can easily get a late 1st.

You have to consider the fact that we already have his brother on the roster, and the last time the two were on a team together it ended in disaster. Those two simply can not have a sane professional relationship. They negotiated their last contract to be one deal for the two of them and they shared a bank account. Way too many conflict of interests there and it made it a nightmare for Phoenix when they had to deal Marcus.

I remember Phoenix fans telling us that Marcus was the troublemaker too. During the incident where they caught those felony assault charges, Marcus was supposedly the instigator and he was the one who was stomping the dude on the ground.

I like his game but he'd be disruptive. Keef has been in a pretty good place for us and I think we'd be asking for trouble by acquiring Marcus. There has to be someone else out there.
