Philly Kicker is having a tough game.

B Rob looks good so far.

Yes.

The inability to run and to stop the run is why I've thought all along that the Commanders are not as good as their record.

The magic is lost.

They legitimately looked like crap tonight. Uninspired playcalling, receivers not getting seperation, and Daniels looked slow. I don't know if he's still injured but he did not move well on those QB runs.

A few things:

- Teams have like 10 weeks worth of tape on Daniels now, so the stuff they were getting away with in Week 4 isn't happening here. Kliff is going to have to adjust.

- This team looks exhausted. They are one of the last 6 teams that will get a bye week but luckily this is a mini bye week for them, so my hope is these guys come in rested and hopefully we get Lattimore back.

- The 5 game stretch was always going to define the season. I thought if they won 2 or 3 out of the 5, they should be in good shape heading into the bye. Well, we beat the Bears and Giants, lost to the Steelers and Eagles and now have Dallas w/out Dak, and the Titans at home over the next 2 weeks. 4 of our last 6 are at home. We SHOULD be 9-4 heading into the bye, and we should be Dallas and New Orleans post bye. That's 11 wins. The Falcons game is a toss up, but this is an 11 win season.

- They're ahead of schedule. We won 4 games last year, we have already won 7. Season is a success. It's clear they're a playoff team now, but to get to that contender status they're going to have to make those offseason moves. I don't know what Lattimore's contract status is but if he's here next year, we still need another corner, we need a linebacker, defensive end, and a true #1 receiver. We're playing with house money this year.

At this point it is clear that we don't have the roster to beat the best teams. Philly has more talent than we do.

Thursday games must suck for players. Too little recovery time.

We hung tight for 3 quarters but the Eagles d line and secondary are just too good. The run game was working, and I don't even know if having a better line or skill positions would do much. The defense was bending, and ultimately broke at the end.

Daniels is definitely still injured, he has his ribs on ice when he's on the sidelines, announcers of the Eagles feed were talking about it

Why didn't they play Mariotta in instead of putting Daniels through that, especially in a losing effort?

I'm reminded that this team is one miraculous hail mary away from 6-4. They're better than expected sure but not superbowl contenders yet.

This team will reel off wins over the next 3 and that Thursday night awful game will be forgotten about. This team is getting some well deserved time off before we head into the part of the season that really matters. It will have been two games in 30 days after the Eagles loss. Hopefully get Lattimore for this weekend and generate some momentum to set up a great showdown with the Eagles after the bye. Still love our chances. Jayden should be 100% by that Eagles game imo. He needs to get over playing in the cold though. He was wrapped up in Philly like it was a January game in Green Bay lol

well a lot of those wrappings were ice for his banged up ribs. I hope he can get to 100% in that time - ribs can take a long time to heal

I really don't get why they are trying to hide an obvious injury. Just bench him. We were gaslit about RG3 while he was injured and he was clearly not the same player. It does nothing good at all for the team to do force him (or allow him) to play through injury.

Especially when that player is like "no I'm fine really let me play"

no

sit your butt down and heal

I bet you a million dollars he makes it a little worse each time he takes the field

not all injuries are the same. i get being traumatized by RG3 but you can't sit a qb because he has sore ribs, especially given the context of the team playing well and jaden being a rookie and needing the reps.

If his running was the only thing impacted I'd say fine, but his throwing has taken a hit also. That's too much of a limitation to be on the field imo.
