In looking at the rest of his Tweets, while Beal may not get the Rookie of the Year award, he most certainly will get the award for the most boring twitter account made by an Athlete.

I had to stop following him because of how infatuated he was with god.

I want some damn trill ish on my twitter feed. Not another Tebow.

He should probably sit out the Minn game at least.

Beal's play isn't bland, and that's what I'm most interested in. My latest at the blog gets into his improvement throughout the season.

Hey Nivek, just read your blog. Always interesting stuff. You show that both Webster and Beal are shooting about the same percentage with or without Wall on the court. But didn't I also see where both of them, especially Webster, have gotten considerably more shot opportunities (and probably open shots) since Wall has been back?

If that's true, wouldn't that say that Wall's presence creates more scoring opportunities for those teammates and enables them to become more significant contributors.

You have to ask that right after I junk the spreadsheet I was using?!

;)

Looked it up again, and nope, that's not happening. Webster's usage rate with Wall is 15.7% (of team's possessions); without Wall it's 16.0%. Beal's usage goes down -- from 22.5% without Wall to 20.0% with Wall.

I wish we could go one year without a D.C. stud rookie getting hurt. Strasburg in 2010, RG3 in 2012, now Beal in 2013. Well Harper made it out in one peace at least...

EG loaded up on boring.

Okafor is the Batman of Boring.
Trevor A is would be his Robin.
Booker seems pretty boring

Total 180 from the days of Gil, Dray, Swaggy P, Idiot McGee, and D Sleez.

Seems to be a clear difference in the types of players added since Ted became owner.

Okafor is the Batman of Boring.

Slight correction: Okafor is low drama. He seems like one of the most interesting off-sports interviews in all of sports.

Webster is also good for a colorful quote.

But you're right--the new MO is all about the hardhat.

Beal listed as day to day with mild ankle sprain.

Wittman was on the NBAtv show 'The Beat' at 6:00 and said that they expect Beal to miss games plural. He said that everyone was definitely relieved that it wasn't anything more serious than a sprain, but again, he said explicitly that they expect him to miss multiple games.

He'll probably only miss 1 or 2. I'm happy having him sit until it feels good enough to play on again. Its not like the playoffs are a possibility anymore.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

That's because we need to tank. It's time for Nene to miss some games due to "back spasms">

Agreed on both fronts Danger and Nate. I'm just glad he didn't rupture an Achilles or break that ankle.

You act as if we need to come up with fake injuries for Nene.

Beal looks like a player, I don't even need to see anymore of him this year honestly. All I want is for John to end the season on a good note and for us to not drop further than 4th in the lottery.
