I feel like a lot of trades will be predicated on who's available when we pick. Given the nature of the draft, pre-draft trades only really happen if a team has a level of certainty regarding who will be available. Regardless, Sheppard needs a homerun tonight. I don't care what we do or who we draft as much as I care about it working out. I think it's safe to predict that regardless of who we pick, there will be a massive backlash on this board like there always is but how about we actually give whatever we do a chance before we jump to criticize? Just my 2 cents.

I could be wrong, but the vibe from management really seems to be “nothing to see here.” I think they’re not gonna do squat and I put it at about 80-85% that Beal is gone a year from now next July and we are left wondering how the FO could’ve been this stupid yet again. Possibility he could go somewhere at the deadline but I doubt it. Other than a sign and trade next July, we’re screwed.

Let me preface what I’m about to say is I confess to being an arrogant prick. At times.

I expect business as usual which is shocking jive and take the path of least resistance they’re really dunderheads and you can tell by the record overall over all these years.

Knicks are in a weird position. Lots of cap room and not a lot of top-tier FAs.

Now, if they were in it for the long-haul, they would take on contracts and assets (IMO).

NY is picking #19. Why would we want a trade down? Maybe if we stockpile 2023 draft picks….

Are you really asking why we would want to trade down 4 spots to get 1 or more extra picks in this incredibly deep draft?
