So - they have to be now waiting for Markannen to get traded before the bridesmaids pivot to Kuzma, yes?
Orlando want Brogdon? They're a young, win now team. Maybe Brogdon can go back up Suggs there.
Still super interested to see what happens with Bagley since I don't think they can trade Holmes. Maybe they just cut him? Hard to see them flushing that much money, and he helps the tank. Problem is he'll take minutes from Sarr and Vuk.

Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Turning down an offer to the Western Conference champs because, "It's about contending for a championship." The jokes kinda write themselves, even our players are delusional.

I’d gladly take him in Milwaukee but unless you’re in the market for Brook Lopez’ expiring contract or a package built around Bobby Portis and one of our disappointing draft picks, I doubt there’s a match here without involving a third team.

That doesn't devalue Gafford one bit. As long as Lively is on a rookie deal, Gafford is a luxury they can afford.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

What about Bagley for a salary dump and a 2 rounder? Bagley is probably playable with either Portis or Lopez.

So I think there is technically a window where they could trade lopez for kuz and trade the draft rights to the guys they just drafted and their 2031 picks. That's the best they could offer and that would technically be 2 firsts and 2 seconds and you could then swing Lopez to who ever.machu46 wrote:lastemp3ror wrote:Are the Bucks a potential landing spot for Kuzma? ..and Dallas has played the two together effectively, at some point they will use Lively as a stretch big too and Gafford will be protecting the rim. Win-win

I’m pretty sure Lively and Gafford have not been on the court at the same time. Neither of them can make a shot from beyond 3 feet.

Gafford/Lively were played together during the playoffs quite effectively, against Minny anyway.
It is absolutely false that DL cannot shoot beyond 3 feet, they just haven’t incorporated his shooting yet, but we got a glimpse of it when he shot 2-4 3’s during the playoffs. Here is his pre-draft workout where he is clearly shooting the ball and quite comfortable from range.

I'm always amazed at how gifted these kids are!
I wouldn't have taken Lively over Bilal, but he was my 2d choice at that spot for sure.
Maybe he can teach Gaff to shoot?

Lively shot 50% from the foul line. Let's not get carried away here.

This is true. I really, really hope Milwaukee wouldn't trade their 2031 pick though and maybe I'll look dumb later but I think the Bucks egregiously reaching on AJ Johnson in particular indicates they truly love him as a prospect rather than viewing him as a trade chip.

I don't think we have any 2nd round picks we can offer in trades lol. Also don't really have the salaries to match. The best I could come up with is something like Brook for Bagley and Kispert and without including picks, that feels pointless for you guys.

I really thought ORL would be all over Brogdon or even a SnT for Tyus...could still happen, but ORL just re-signed everybody to new, good deals, so there'd have to be salary/players coming back. Either one would be really great off the bench as ORL's starting lineup is 2 3&D savages in the backcourt, with Franz & Paolo (both 6'10) as the primary offensive initiators...it's productive, but can and will get bogged down at times...bringing in a vet 3rd Guard who could settle things down, hit open shots and bring up the half-court efficiency for 25mpg would be THE missing piece, imo.
I can't believe ORL hasn't addressed that...perhaps they feel like Anthony Black is ready for that role.
maybe they're talking

With GS losing Klay, I wonder if they'd have an interest in bring back Poole?
He could help fill that void, and his return could be a positive marketing move for their fans.

That's not going to happen as long as Draymond is there.
