Hey all -- this just to let you know that I've recovered pretty well. Wearing a sling off and on, & doing lots of PT, but I feel more or less back to (ab)normal!

I couldn't find the old abandoned workout thread
but will post here instead. Hope I'm not forgetting
that I already posted about this.

I ran the Annapolis 10 miler last Sunday. I was
pretty darn slow but I still managed to get an
Official finish in 2:22. My first and only other
finish there was 20 years ago in a little less than
half the time.

You love to hear it. Let me know when you want to get back at doc. A little eye for an eye never hurt anyone.

Ha! I did nothing! He didn’t even have a sip of something. I think he was just despondent that we let Ace Bailey slip away and decided to step into traffic.

It's true -- doc was not at fault. In fact, by the time I stepped into the void (or at least a few inches thereof) I'm sure doc was at home & writing posts!

As to Bailey, it'll be interesting to see whether he steps up & into his potential, which is certainly high. Meanwhile, we'll be fine w/o him....

AFM can explain in greater detail (even accurately!) -- if I understand this, Persians cook rice with yogurt; as the dish cooks, the bottom layer mixes w/ the yogurt & becomes a crunchy delight! Called "tahdig."

Do I have that more or less right?

You don't have to add yogurt, matter of fact I've never seen that. Just some oil on the bottom of the pot is enough. Some people add sliced potatoes, some add pieces of bread, almost like a pita bread. I like it a little on the softer side :o

My comment is simply that I'm not terribly impressed
with the 3 main zards oriented podcasts that pop up
on my feed

Those are:
Locked on Wizards
Wizards Latest
and Dirty Bucket (dude)

At the risk of damning with faint praise, my
favs here are def more interesting and insightful
than the majority of what I see on any of those
Podcasts.

Is there one I'm not seeing that I should be or is
just a suck time of year?

No, all the Wizards podcasts suck. It is what it is. Until Dat starts one we're stuck with these. My favorite is the dirty bucket since he at least has a personality.

Our old friend TSW/Kev has one he updates very infrequently but to be honest not everyone is meant to be a podcaster.

When Blev in Wizards restarts their coverage of the Wizards, they are worth the listen. Its Matt Moderno and Jahidi White.
Jahidi liked Matas Buzelis in this last draft. I think this season Buzelis will blow up.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
