Agreed that the team has a lot of holes at several positions. The biggest hole (QB) is filled...thank you to the man above for that. I would rank team needs as such:
1. WR1.5
2. DE/Edge
3. CB2
4. Linebacker(s)
5. Speed back
1. WR1.5
2. DE/Edge
3. CB2
4. Linebacker(s)
5. Speed back

Yep desperately need a big and physical WR. I think you see Washington draft Lacy at WR or Taylor at TE from LSU to bring in a familiar weapon. Taylor could legit be a first round talent at TE. He was so underutilized. Lacy could be a great get in the second or third round at WR. He has Brian Thomas size but isn’t as dynamic and isn’t a sure thing first rounder like Brian Thomas who I thought was the most pro ready of the WRs this year even above Malik. I wouldn’t draft any LSU defensive players though right now.
well maybe Swinson at DE but the rest of them are garbaj. And I wouldn’t touch Will Campbell at OL. He was extremely disappointing this season. Great in pass protection but can’t run block at all. It was very apparent that Jayden made that oline look better than they really were. /LSU Homerism-scouting off

Given what has happened this year it is safe to say we are an attractive option for free agents.
We can also say that our new front office is pretty good at identifying free agents that would be a good fit. Did anyone think of pursuing Biadasz or Luvu?
I am pretty confident that our roster next year will be a lot stronger.

Mike Florio said that the Eagles backup situation is worse than Washington in that Marriotta(who was previously a back up in Philly) is a better backup for the Eagles than Pickett given that he can do a better impersonation of Hurts.

Just out of curiosity i checked the stats on the Philly defense. They are still first in fewest yards allowed. They are 5th in fewest points per game allowed, only 1 point out of 1st place.

Re: The Washington Commanders Thread
I would bring Mariota back. The NFL has a QB problem, I think most franchises are set, but there's like 4-5 teams that need a QB, and there's a ton more teams out there where the backup situation is terrible. I'd bring him back, Chinn, Fowler, and Wagner as well.
Anyway, for Week 17, we need to root for a Cowboys win over the Eagles, Vikings over Packers, and if we win, we're in.
Assuming all that happens, in Week 18 we need to beat the Cowboys. Eagles will probably beat the Giants so the division will be out of our reach but we win our next 2 and Packers go 1-1, we'll have the 6th seed. That would mean a matchup with either Atlanta, Rams, Seahawks or Bucs.

Ceedee Lamb ruled out for the rest of the season. Have to imagine that the Cowboys are going to lose to the Eagles.

Tonight's game is huge. The Falcons have positional advantages all over the field, so this is going to be a huge test.

A win will also give us the 6 seed since Minnesota just beat the Packers.

This team does not know how to just put other teams away. Unbelievable.
