That’s what we need him working on...so that he is ready to play significant minutes in the playoffs... funny that they say Lebron is the hardest working guy in the league and the best player...coincidence....i think NOT.

Good on Wall to be in the gym after getting a max deal. OTTO GET IN THE GYM BRO

It isn't the physical side that Wall needs to work on... although that will help some.

With Otto - you're trying to get orange juice out of a turnip - Folks are limited to the extent that they're endomorphic or exomorphic. Otto can get only so big without losing on his athleticism, and he is considerably bigger and stronger than he was as a rookie.

Well, from what I understand, their whole program is really catered towards bio-mechanics and making sure there are no balance issues throughout the body (something Rose could of used). They also focus on fatiguing the body and then performing basketball skills to simulate the 4th quarter.
I have a sneaky feeling that this will be Walls best year to date
- Lebron goes West
- Hes healthy and looks in shape
- At 27, he is now in his sweet spot of physical, mental, and emotional maturity
- Roster shakeup might give him some rejuvenation

I actually have a lot of faith in Wall. My real question is:
1) Does Oubre plateau or take the next step
2) Who takes the mantle as the co-star, Otto (Scoring volume) or Beal (Scoring efficiency)... I doubt both do.

1) Oubre/Sato will take large steps forward - right before they are traded :)
2) I think this will be the most ball dominant Wall year ever. Making in impossible for a co-star.

Oops - wrong thread - this should be appreciation - my bad.

Bill Simmons (of course) was just killing Wall on his podcast with his Wiz-fan friend Joe House. Said John Wall took everybody eats too literally (to paraphrase). He's kind of right that he's shown up a bit heavy too often. And it's great to see that he's 205 and should be ready to rock and roll barring injury.

Good to see John staying slimmed down and leaner. Him being 220 pounds was a bit much.

Also, he's rocking the cornrows... can he play defense like another superstar who's rockin them?

I know but he probably wore dreads as much as any "superstar" since the Answer. And no, John can't and will never play defense like the guy I won't mention. I'm not sure there are many in the history of the game that are capable of playing better than that dude, who we should have drafted.

Yeah... just need John to get back defending like he did in 2014 and 2015.
