I almost read this as "Washington picks Antonio Gibson's grandmother." Did a double-take! :)

5th and 3rd? This is what happens when you become a problem child. He is easily worth more than that, but no way are we going to get more.

I'm really digging the Gibson pick. Big and fast with the ability to play both WR & RB...and return kicks. Rivera may have gotten his McCaffrey 2.0.

I was hoping for the cb from Notre Dame but he was taken early in the 4th

If the ankle injury isn’t an issue I’d think BRYCE HALL CB from VIRGINIA would be nice.

With the 2 picks in the 5th round I’d go OL/LB and a blocking TE in the 7th & special teams/FS with the other 7th round pick. But I’m usually only right once or twice in a draft. Lol

Somebody on ESPN just compared the skins pick-

Liberty WR Antonio Gandy-Golden

To Billy Madison at recess. I thought wtf then I saw this...

Maybe it’s a good comparison?? Lol

Well I was thinking OL/LB in the 5th, but honestly I wasn’t thinking these two lol

5th round

* KEITH ISMAEL, C/G from SAN DIEGO ST

* KHALEKE HUDSON, LB from MICHIGAN

Looks like a LB/S type plays ST punt blocking ability had 5 blocks

I like the Ismael pick. Frankly, I didnt think we needed a C or RG, but this is actually a good pick. I live in San Diego and have seen a few SD State games. Ismael does well at keeping his opponent in front of him, and he never quits on a play. Because of those two things, even when you think the RB is going to be tackled for a loss, a crafty RB can use/count on Ismeal to make a good block and spring the RB. I've seen it happen multiple times. He''s a big guy, and moves well enough for the NFL. I cant speak about technique, etc, as I am not well versed about all that. But he always *looked* good playing his position to me.

Thanks for the info. This fits with what I’ve read about him. Not someone that jumps out at you on film, but there’s no bad plays from him either. Not flashy but does his job.

Nice depth since he’s played C & both G positions. Also good to have here if Roullier leaves in free agency.

I haven't been a football fan for many years & was never a Redskins fan -- but that tape of Gandy-Golden makes him look good enough that he deserves 2 names!

Maybe we should pick him in R2; he might change his mind & play basketball!
