That seems to be the consensus among many of the "experts"....so perhaps you should "pick up the pipe". :)

They put up 40 in their first half of play. CJ Brown looked really good.

What's so outrageous about that? We would've easily had 7 wins last yr if we didn't lose all our QBs. We would've been 5-2 if Craddock doesn't miss the FG in the NC State (a game where we lost 2 QBs). With players gaining more experience, a very good recruiting class, and good health, this teams will definitely be bowl bound.

Yup. The mobility is still there, and he's really put work into his passing. I remember the dude couldn't throw a lick two yrs ago. I don't want to call it a trend yet since it was only FIU, but his accuracy and touch looked MUCH improved.

:D

Deon Long and Stefon Diggs will be a truly lethal combination for the Terps. When asked how teams will stop both of them, Long simply replied, “They won’t.”

Not sure where I see 7 wins on this schedule, 5 maybe. They will probably beat ODU and UCONN, but they've got Clemson, Florida State, WVA, UVA, VATech....probably all losses. Wake Forest/BC/Syracuse/NC State are all toss ups. Could go either way, and that's the difference between a 7-8 win season or a 5-6 win season.

They did look good yesterday though, I'm really impressed with Diggs.

8 wins or bust as far as I'm concerned.

I don't see the schedule as being particularly challenging.

Stefon Diggs and Deon Long, two 5 stars, look like they could be the best receiving tandem in ACC. #maryland #terps

InsideMDSports: Maryland in the mix for athlete Juwann Winfree

Dwight Morrow (N.J.) athlete Juwann Winfree made his way down to Maryland on Sunday, something he had been looking forward to ever since leaving College Park last fall when the Terps played Georgia Tech.

"Things were great," said the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder. "It was my first time really getting a tour of the school. I enjoyed it.

"We got there and I introduced myself to Deon Long, then they took us to see the coaches and all around the facility and the field. I got to see the dorms and I really liked the pool and the recreation center."

In the midst of the campus-wide tour, the four-star prospect also had an opportunity to speak with his potential position coach, Lee Hull.

"I spoke with the receiver coach in the meeting room for a while," Winfree said. "He said they only want to take one receiver in this class and that I should be that guy. He said that I fit in well with their offense and if Deon [Long] has a great season or two and goes into the draft, that could be an early spot for me."

With offers from Georgia, West Virginia, Pittsburgh and another dozen or so, Winfree says he planned to trim his list down to six schools, announcing them on Twitter. He earlier said that Pitt and Georgia were definitely making the cut, and he says that Maryland is also "safe."

The Diggs & Long Show: The highly anticipated debut of wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Deon Long tag-team tandem did not disappoint. The two stalwarts combined for 14 catches, 208 yards, two touchdowns, and no drops. The addition of Long (nine catches for 110 yards and a touchdown) this season has already shown how defenses will double team Diggs at their own risk. Long ran great routes, got great separation from defenders, and proved that he can also be a down field threat as well (as shown by his 25-yard touchdown catch down the sideline in the 2nd quarter).

As for Houdini who wears #1, Saturday was much of the same. Once he gets the ball in his hands, he leaves defenders grabbing and swiping at air. Even when Diggs (five catches for 98 yards and a touchdown) is wide-open, he still shows everyone just how athletic he truly is (case in point, his leaping one-handed go-go gadget catch over the middle along with his 66-yard slip, stumble, yet never in doubt touchdown catch). Diggs will continue to be the weapon that defenses game plan for, but the addition of Long (along with the danger of C.J. Brown’s legs) will without question give the Terps offense favorable matchups on game days

Stefon Diggs won’t let brother Trevon rush recruiting process

Stefon Diggs wouldn’t mind it if his younger brother follows in his footsteps at Maryland.
Trevon Diggs, a sophomore wide receiver at Wootton, is already receiving interest from some Football Bowl Subdivision schools, despite the fact he still has three full seasons of high school football ahead of him.

Maryland and Virginia have offered Trevon, vying for the youngster to be a part of their class of 2016. But the attention is nothing new for the younger brother of Maryland’s dynamic sophomore playmaker.

“He was with me throughout my recruiting process so he knows how it goes,” Stefon Diggs said. “It’s all about picking a university for you. He tells me all the time, ‘I like Maryland,’ stuff like that, but at the end of the day, I want him to make the best decision for him.”

By the time Trevon Diggs puts on a Maryland uniform, they'll be near the top of the Big 10 and in the conversation for the Rose Bowl.

No way I see them in the national championship conversation, but they're starting to reel in some mighty big fish at UMCP.

Brown's stats: 14-22 for 275 and 2 TDs passing, 36 yards and 2 TDs rushing.

Terps up 45-3 on ODU.

From rivals recruiting staff- Mike Farrell.

Every year, there are prospects across the country who are virtual locks for a particular school from the moment an offer is extended. Whether it be a lifelong affinity, family connections or even a school pipeline, there are just certain players who are destined for certain schools. This year is no exception, with plenty of players not technically committed who are likely to end up at an obvious destination. The Rivals.com national team takes a look at the biggest no-brainers still on the market.

DB JALEN TABOR, WASHINGTON (D.C.) FRIENDSHIP ACADEMY: MARYLAND
Although he has said he likes Alabama and Florida, Tabor is a near lock for the Maryland Terps. A number of his former teammates are on the Terps roster, and he has visited that campus countless times. Tabor has a strong relationship with coach Mike Locksley and most of the staff, including head coach Randy Edsall.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

From ESPN

@RTDaSilva3 asks: locals are saying [Damian] Prince is leaning towards #Terps. How big of an impact would his commitment be?

Shanker: You’re right, as it looks like Maryland is in the driver’s seat for not just Prince but talented defensive back Jalen Tabor as well. At different times in each player’s recruitment it seemed like Maryland was running behind, but the Terps have always been at least near the top and are now close to securing both of the region’s top prospects. A commitment from Prince and Tabor would bring national headlines to a team that has struggled to produce them on the field under Randy Edsall. And if the Terps struggle again in 2013, a recruiting class with the likes of Jess Aniebonam, Prince and Tabor could keep Edsall around for 2014
