Well, the old gold/black alternate jersey's also had the stars.

Making that R/W/B would be too "Globetrotter-ish" IMO.

I actually like those. But according to another poster, the Wizards name is going to be de-emphasized so I doubt that is what they'll look like.

Just from the look of the promo page w/ the 3 stars, looks to me like they may be going with a DC flag influence to the design, which I think would be cool.

Hmmm...hadn't thought about that. If they emphasize "Washington" or "DC" instead of Wizards, that could really work well. Can't wait for Monday!

Just judging by the the Wizards splash page I think we can expect a uniform heavily influenced by the classic Bullets stars and stripes. My hope is that the uniform ends up with a brighter hue than what's on that page, but I expect it to be closer to what the Capitals colors are.

One last personally shameful look back at Wiz unis before Uncle Ted's day of glory tomorrow.

It pains me to admit that I kinda liked the Wizards gold and black uniforms. I thought it was really out-of-the-box and wanted to salute the Wiz for trying something completely different.

Apparently EVERYBODY ELSE on Planet Earth hated them.

My bad.

I liked 'em too, Pine. I even copped the shorts to wear to the gym (although, they're not immediately identifiable as Wizards shorts, except for a small "dc" logo over the butt).

I liked everything but the shiny sateen pajama fabric. Liked the stars, the two-tone, the mike tyson black sneaks. But hell do I know, my favorite wiz unis were the Orange Crush throwbacks. And red white and blue bores the piss outta me.

I'm giddy about the new uni's. Hopefully I can buy my Wall jersey tomorrow! I'm assuming they'll be available on the Wizards site.
