Box all the way on this one and I said so earlier, or so I thought.

That's all I've got. He is not the brightest guy and it is pretty obvious to see McGee's agenda slowly unfold (because it apparently is how his mind works). He is locked in on trying to score for himself.

Could also be Chuck Crawford put up 7 shots as if he were a weapon set on fully automatic. McGee's just trying to get his.

Regardless, McGee's decision making is somewhat of an oxymoron.

I think you may be right.

Selfishness is a cultural thing. If McGee sees Chuckford and Young throwing up a shot every time they catch the ball, he probably feels like he needs to "get his" when he has the chance.

That's why I want all of them off the team. Start fresh with players who play the right way.

EDITED TO ADD: Also, big-men get overlooked many times throughout a basketball game so they usually try to maximize their opportunities when they get them. When you combine that fact with a low BBIQ player like McGee, you get some really embarrassing and perplexing shots.

Mack with a minus 20 in only 10min. Everytime we substitute Wall for him we get killed. Again, I say that we should try JC as the backup PG again. You can still start him but bring him out with like 4min left so he can come back in when Wall sits down

At this point Id honestly rather let Mason play the backup point. I cant stand seeing Mack anymore. Singelton looks bad but Mack looks inferior. Just too small, slow, and unathletic and he cant compesate by being stronger or knowing how to use angles

Cool. I missed that because I just joined in this thread.

As someone who watched it. McGee played really poorly offensively. It was hard to watch. He lucked out with some calls made against GS but it was McGee WTF moments. He was out of control.

Looking at his line, it looks like he played ok. It was worse then that.

But this isnt the game to get down in the weeds on analysis on. GS was on fire from 3 and jumped them from the start. They have way better shooters. Ellis was on fire and others joined in. 41 pts in the first quarter. The game was already over.

Perhaps Jeremy Tyler with our 2nd rounder would have been a better gamble....stash him in the D-League for 2 years like GSW is doing.

Right, miller.

That's why after Anthony Davis or Thomas Robinson, I really want Tyler Zeller on this team next season. Washington needs a big who can always get a shot off, smoothly within the framework of the offense or in transition. Tyler flows to the basket and is so much better than anyone on the Wizards, the difference will be night and day if he can be Washington's pick.

Regardless of where he is projected, Tyler Zeller is a player I think the Wizards should trade down for after the top 3 picks. I would trade the rights to Drummond for Zeller.

why I are you posting this? He says it in every post game? Literally. He always says that they just made shots and we missed them. They asked him about how to improve and get over the hump a few games back and he said just gotta keep shooting. Shoot your way out of it

Heh. I make a habit of not watching our post-game pressers but just happened to catch this one. Didn't know he says that every game but knowing Nick, I should have guessed.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I really need to catch another game with Zeller playing. I remembered liking him from last year.

I was thinking he was a player for the Wiz until I saw a game he played in where he was not very active. Must have been a bad game from what you are saying CCJ.

Nice to hear you so high on him. Well, that is if we get him ..

Uh, actually Nick must have paid attention to EFJ for something because that's what EFJ would say all the time. "Gotta tip your cap to them, they were hot and hit shots."

"B-b-b-but he can run the offense better than Wall!"

That's what many people were saying earlier in the year. I'm sorry, but Mack isn't an NBA talent. He's unathletic, has no quickness, and has poor handles. We made a mistake not signing a vet PG in the offseason that be able to spell Wall some minutes and be somewhat productive. Mack does nothing.

Yeah. Im not seeing it in Mack.

He seemed to have some game earlier in the year. Maybe it was just him being more in control while Wall was very out of control. Now that Wall is balln, Mach seems like.... not much.

I would really like to see even an average mid aged to later aged vet backing him up.

Guys....JonathanJoseph said Mack was a better point guard than Wall earlier in the season. If you don't accept that Mack is the future and Wall is fools gold, you're an idiot.

Ok. We get it.

People liked him when Wall was playing pretty poorly. What would you expect. People look for the silver lining. Specially early in the season.

Not a big deal.
