He's 19 and probably 240ish lbs now, and he was measured at 6'10.5 with shoes with a 7'1 wingspan. So, I'd guess he'll be 250 in the NBA hopefully with more muscle.
I hope so, Ruz - especially if he does end up on the Wiz somehow. I wouldn't have guessed 240, but when you're that tall, there's almost a floor that's tough to go below without being Manute levels of skinny.
And I hope that the increased strength/mass will help him on the boards, but I wonder if it will help him develop the interior side of his offense. Several times last night he tried to initiate a move at the elbow, with little success. He's so long that a few steps across the lane would get him close to the basket. But even with no-name Georgia guys defending him, he was getting pushed off his move. It just didn't look natural, like making the perfunctory post move was something he's supposed to do, but he really wanted to be out on the perimeter knocking down those beautiful jumpers.
OTOH, his FT shooting was beautiful, so having just enough moves to draw fouls and get to the line would make him an even more efficient offensive player.
Again, would love to have him, and a best case scenario could be a Ryan Anderson type - great shooting and decent to good rebounding, but I'll be very surprised if he turns into an even average post defender.
