That Lillard extension will go down as the worst contract in the history of sports. 63 million at age 36. What a joke.
That’s more than the Orioles and A’s payrolls.

Re: Discussing Other Teams' Moves - Part 8
I think the bulls can make the trade solo.
Bulls get KD
Nets get : Ball, Williams, white, Bradley, 2024,2026,2028 pick swaps, 2023 protland first, 2027 and 2029 bulls first. 2026,2027,2028,2029 bulls second round picks
Would that get a deal done?

There are also games-played protections in the deal for New Orleans. If Williamson is unable to get and stay healthy, the Pelicans will be able to get out of the deal without owing Williamson the full amount of his contract
I call this the Gilbert Arenas Rule

Kenneth Lofton Jr. is bringing a dimension the Memphis Grizzlies have been missing

I may be proven wrong about KLJR

Thoughts on Ayton signing the 4-year $133M deal with the Pacers? What becomes of Turner?

I figure Phoenix matches. They can't let him go for free. Still, Kudos to Indy. Their FO is lightyears ahead of ours. They were stuck in no man's land, decided to rebuild, and could have a young core of Tyrese, Duarte, Mathadin, and Ayton.
We are in the worst position in the East (with the exception of maybe Charlotte).

Suns most certainly have to match. Ayton is young. Will be only 27 when that deal is up.
They can trade him later if they choose.
Can’t let him walk for nothing.

Wow, can you imagine this kind of comment ever coming from Ted?
I’ll have to see it to believe from Robert Sarver though.

Jalen Smith got a long term deal from Indiana but he's probably not too happy with the Ayton signing.closg00 wrote:Thoughts on Ayton signing the 4-year $133M deal with the Pacers? What becomes of Turner?

Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

So the ayton stuff is settled. Now I guess we wait for the Mitchell drama to sort out and see how much Danny steals from New York for a 61 combo guard that's sus on defence lol.
What other stories are left to play out .
Collin Sexton? Will he be forced to settle for less money? Or will he get his 18-20 ?
With John Collins get traded ?
How much will LA ultimately pay to upgrade Westbrook?
Will Kyrie find a home?
Will KD get moved?
Did I miss anything?
