Yeah watching the highlights seem like half our points come from Sarr screens

Looks good and maybe Bilal is in the mix, but we desperately need that top five pick to get a PG or a physical big (Boozer). Hope we're not that good.
Dallas just got the #1 pick, and Washington beat them.

We don’t need to do anything but operate by a meritocracy at each position. Win. The rest will take care of itself.

The box score likes what Bagley and Kispert/Whitmore did tonight.

Deni Avdija had 20 in the first half. They beat the Warriors by 20.

The Wizards won despite 1-7 FG from Carrington and 2-8 FG from McCollum.

Ten straight years of 20 ppg. He dropped over 50 on the Wizards last season.

Patience.

Critics.

I did not see the game. CJ is a known commodity and an above-average NBA player. He is a combo guard, not a pure point guard. He struggled? I wonder who defended him? Jason Kidd probably game planned to stop CJ, the only Wizard on their scouting report. Maybe McCollum was overmatched defensively, too.

Who's team is it? CJ will find himselff.

They're using him all wrong. He is not a PG, and even if he develops NBA PG type handles, you cant put him in that spot late in the game. That was bad coaching by DAL.

AD is very overweight. I noticed that when they lost to the Spurs. He lacks explosiveness.

Davis is coming off an injury. I think he got married recently, too. He's not in peak game shape.

Might still win because this is one of the worst games I've ever seen AD play and Klay is a complete non-factor and washed.
Dallas really blew it signing Klay.

He's at the Lattimore stage of his career.

Barkley will learn this isn't your father's Wizards.

The last three quarters against Milwaukee and this game have already convinced me.

Same. I hate how the Wiz fans all over the internet (not necessarily here) have decided to have a negative outlook on Bilal. He still has upside to discover

I think it's serendipitous that he is injured.

Bilal will come back to a well-oiled team. His skills are already known by the coaches. He's another lockdown defender.

CntOutSmrtCrazy wrote:Ky George is maybe the only thing Dawkins has done right on this squad. Still a lot to be seen, but he's the type of archetype this team should be developing.

All the other pieces are soft. This kid on the other hand is interesting.

Northwest Roddy wrote:Wow, this team chucks. unconscious up and down the line. Whoever gets the ball first wants to shoot.

And, fortunately, i’m the Mr Magoo of the eye test. Tre looked good. He’s quick. Good man defense. And the stroke is pure. Just needs some strength.

We need to trade for some dead weights in return for picks to drive this tank because Keyshawn is blowing up right before our eyes.

willbcocks wrote:Even from the beginning of last year, you could see George had rarefied basketball IQ on both ends of the floor, and that he had a lot of passion for the game.

He would make a lot of mistakes and silly fouls though, and he didn't have the bag for posting up and getting by people.

Last year he was fun; this year is electric.

Tyrone Messby wrote:I mean, let’s not forget how atrocious Ky was in summer league. We were all calling him Johnny Davis 2.0, myself included. The jump he has made is seriously mind boggling. What a player!

COSC-Sarr is definitely legit defensively. He is suddenly grabbing 10 rebounds per game and shooting .500. Coulibaly defensively started last season, much like Kyshawn is looking this season. He looked like a budding star. Dawkins picked them along with Johnson and Riley, who each look very promising.

MWR - Sounds like this team could succeed running Seven Seconds or Less.
I am all for winning deals like the one for Whitmore. At this point, I want to win.
CJ to Houston makes sense. I don't want to trade away young talent. Middleton is the other player to trade. Bringing in tank players would destroy the chemistry and winning mindset of the young players. The pick can go if they win and attract free agents.

Willbcocks - Dawkins got a winner with Kyshawn. He’s looking like Washington's Jaylen Williams.

Tyrone Mesby - I never called him Johnny Davis. I recall KG was ice cold from three-point distance. He was always more assertive than Davis. Now, he's about 3 inches taller and much taller.
