The Wiz should play Kobe straight up instead of doubling him. I'd rather let Kobe get 50+ points and have his team stand around watching him, than let him get all his teammates involved by passing out of the double teams. Memphis beat the Lakers the other night by allowing Kobe to get his but by shutting everyone else down. The Wiz should do the same.

ya i agree but kobe hasnt been doubled all night. imo i thought there were many plays where ds played him straight up and did a good job getting a hand in his face. what bothers me is every wizards defensive possession, all 5 wizards get sucked too deep into the paint that when there is a drive and kick out, its too late to get back out and cover the open shot. i dont understand why they do that when there are 4 players floating around the 3 point line while 1 player drives and dishes

Wizards are making life really easy on the Lakers right now. One and done, nothing but jumpshots, no ball movement.

Sad. Looks like the comeback kids are going to have another big deficit to overcome. 17 point lead.

We've got a nice offensive flow going. We just need stops.

Jesus Mason, if you're gonna drive to the hole go all the way.

We just can't keep our starters on the court, this game.

DeShawn goes down (and of course, no call).

This is either the softest or most fragile team I have ever seen. If someone gets a paper cut they are probably out 3 weeks.

We have all the momentum but we can't seem to take advantage.

What the hell?!

Nick Young stands in one place and gets hit in the face, and somehow the foul is on him?
