DS also had a solid game last night in a blow out. He had 16p 8rb 7a. Basically it's looking like DS and Pech are making the Wiz burn.

That is better for him. He was unhappy with the prospect of another losing team and wanted to be traded. Thing about AD, if he's unhappy everbody gonna hear it (and hear it and hear it and hear it ...)

You got to know EJ is desperate for someone who can run his pet offense, and AD was happy in Nawlins. I suspect he'll try to land one or the other place. I'm guessing Philly since the WHorenets are penny pinching.

Agree with doc. This is good for AD. Now he gets all the money from his existing contract, plus he can join a contender and earn a little more money in the process.

If AD becomes a Crabalier, I hope he burns in hell.

Antonio Daniels Could End Up In Cleveland

If this happens, the Cavs will have the inside scoop on how to beat the Wiz in the playoffs.

Interesting that AD doesn't have a job but Mike James still does.

Two things....

Number One...different coach, different system.

Number Two...inside scope on how to beat the Wiz? I never knew they were having problems. :D

I think Mike Brown expects to be adding the AD that played for SA's championship team when Brown was an assistant; and the AD who got the Wizards to the playoffs when Gil was out. I think Brown will be for a surprise.

The last time I saw AD play he looked to be done. Mike James is better than AD.

Cleveland IMO is going to be much worse defensively this season, especially if they add AD and give him significant minutes.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

OKC beat Detroit in Detroit to go 2-0.

On the ESPN video recap highlights as the Pistons attempted to attack the rim, Etan Thomas had two rejections that each led to fast break baskets the other way for OKC.

Etan is usually always effective the first two weeks or so of a season. Then he twists an ankle or get a hangnail and he goes back to being a liability.

I did note Etan's 3 blocks in the 22minutes that he played, OKC is please with what Etan brings to the team. I wouldn't be surprised to see him re-upped at say...half his current salary :D

You know what we haven't talked about here? A guy named James Harden, he did squat during pre-season and so-far he's not stroking-it. Perhaps it will come later in the season.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Aaron Brooks on our summer squad two years ago? He's kicking butt for Houston right now.

Popeye Jones arrested for DWI ...
Image

Popeye Jones, a veteran of 11 NBA seasons who's now an assistant coach with the Dallas Mavericks, was arrested Sunday in Richardson, TX and accused of drunk driving. According to The Dallas Morning News, the Richardson Police Department received calls from other motorists complaining that someone driving a GMC Yukon was driving erratically.

The cops say Jones declined a breathalyzer test, but it is believed Jones was intoxicated. There was a "minor struggle" when police tried to arrest him and Jones was "taken to the ground," causing "minor" facial cuts.
