How did it take Orlando so long to figure out that Aaron Gordon is a PF and not a SF? He's doing great this season. Vucevic outplayed Cousins as Orlando goes to 5-2.

Gordon is shooting 59% from 3. He's living up to some of his pre-draft hype.

GSW didn't pick up Kevin Looney's option, I wonder what his health status is? High BBIQ and plays good defense

Orlando has been one of the biggest surprises so far.

Yup, i've been following, the battle for those 8 playoff spots is going to be fierce.
Cavs are right now the 12th seed. The East also has a winning record against the West.

At the end of today (10/31) the top 8 East teams have a combined record of 35-20. The top 8 West teams are 35-22.

The West actually won out 3-1 in games against East tonight. We can feel better about the Lakers loss. They beat Detroit by twenty tonight.

He's a modern day small ball C. He can also play PF or SF. The guy's NBA career isn't going to be over after this season.
Like Ruzious and others have posted, it would be great to approach Golden State on a humanitarian level and request a trade. He CAN play for the Wizards. Way the hell better than Mahinmi.

Johnathan Simmons and Terrance Ross have helped. So has getting rid of Jeff Green.

It is a bit chicken and egg situation with the Spurs stars. Not sure if they pick stars who are team first, or if they have a system that is team first and the stars reflect that.
Boston sent Marcus Morris to the G for rehab/practice as-well

Ross has been terrible, it really comes down to Fournier, Simmons, Augustin, Vuc, and Gordon (essentially their starting 5) playing far beyond their track record. They'll come back down to earth.
Those 5 are shooting 50% from 3...50!!!

Suns want to trade Monroe. If they can't get anything for him, they're going to buy him out.

Okay, this is too real. We need a technical foul button to complement the and1 for when posts get to real.
Just watch, when that falls through because Ernie doesn't have enough draft picks, Ian goes with Mahinmi and a couple picks for Enes Kanter because the Knicks are clearly on to something.
Bucket! Bucket!

It's true that Ross has been terrible -- yet they're still giving him 28 minutes a game -- & winning! Aside from the guys you mention, their rookie Jonathan Isaac is also playing pretty well -- & so are Speights, Shelvin Mack, & even Mario Hezonja!! Go figure.

If they trade another 1st rounder to kill another bad signing... Ted's gotta give Ernie the axe right then.

With Looney it's just a question of whether his injuries have made him too slow & stiff -- or if it looks to be a sure thing that they will do that in the short term.
Given that the Warriors have 9 guys for next year who will cost them $130m, & therefore are certainly in need of good/cheap/young players, the fact that they didn't pick up his option makes me think he may dead-ended physically. If so, too bad -- he has a lot of ability.

No way.
Ernie is respected around the league -- Ted knows that's true, because he heard the words come out of his very own mouth.
Plus, Ernie got Markieff at a bargain salary, & he's an established player. Plus, we gave nothing for him. That is, we have nothing that we gave for him. Which isn't really that different, ok?
Also, Ernie has stuck with "the plan." You remember the plan, don't you? The heart of it was "build through the draft by trading your picks for guys who are either crappy or expiring. That way, when you get worse you'll have higher picks & be able to trade them for even more such guys -- there's no way to lose! It's kind of amazing that no one but us gets it!"
Finally, Ernie's incredibly conceited -- as I'm sure you notice. Tell me, have you ever seen a conceited guy who wasn't outstanding at his job? I mean... otherwise, what would make him so effing conceited?
GM for life.
