I agree with pancakes, I don't see the difference between Wall/Turner/Cousins to be as massive as others do, and wouldn't want to give up what it would take to move up if somebody thought Wall is the prize to be had. I'd be more than happy landing in the top 3 anywhere. Wall is a stud, but Turner fills a hole @ the 2 spot and Cousins @ the 5. 4th pick or lower then I start considering trading up.

Reading the Examiner, I got the sense Monroe is staying another year.

If I'm EG, I'm starting to whisper anonymous rumors about Cousins' attitude, work ethic, conditioning, etc... Start the process of devaluing his stock so he's still available for us to take at #6.

Hell yeah! I heard rumor that DeMarcus' diet consists of eating little puppies & kittens. I also heard he once tore a head off a live bird with his teeth and spit it in the face of someone who once crossed him!

He fights dogs, owns 500 guns, and has a penchant for blond strippers too.

If that's true I'm taking Cousins with the #1 pick. Sounds like the kind of kick ass guy the Zards need.

So why won't they just take Turner? Minnesota has 3 first round picks I believe. Why would they want to move back one spot, besides saving a little money, which wouldn't be a big deal to them because they have cap space anyway.

Maybe it's just me, but I think Detroit and Minnesota are the only two teams who have a chance at the top pick and wouldn't take Wall.

barelyawake is our resident stripper expert. Maybe he prefers brunettes or redheads?

I also like strippers that are real. Too much silicon feels unnatural and is turnoff. Now bullet wounds, that's a turn on!

Mind if I email this to Peter Vescey? He'd run with it.

i've seen strippers with glasses, braces, once even in a cast. no bullet wounds though. (the cast was in North Myrtle, SC). no bullet wounds though. too dark to see c-section scars or anything else that's "REAL".

Hands you're the man, I'm not trying to pile on, but CP3 is all of 24 years old, and regardless of your sound theory of building inside out if I had a chance to trade Blatche for him RIGHT NOW and lock down the next decade of his career as a Wizard I'd do it in a heartbeat. He's no different than Wade, who has been injured in the past because he's carrying an entire team on his back. (I'd take Wade too). But I don't think he's breaking down at all, not with a 24 year old's body. The fact is he can carry a team as a borderline MVP candidate, and he has.

(P.S. I still can't look at the guy the same after he punched Julius Hodge in the nuts years ago in the ACC tourney. He'll always be a partial punk in my book.)

But don't sweat it on Wall, doubt we have to make that decision on whether to pick him 1st. Somebody else will make that 'mistake', and hopefully we can land Favors or Cousins to muscle next to your boy Blatche.

It's never piling on when your just voicing what "you would do" or saying what "in your book"

CP has been getting injured and true, so had Wade but I still talk about us getting Wade all the time.

I also think CP3 is awesome so don't take what I was saying as I don't think he is very good. Actually, it doesn't matter what I or anyone else things about him. He is very good regardless of what anyone things.

This guy is probably going before the Cleveland pick (Draftexpress.com has him at 24), but Paul George could be a steal if he slides. His FG %'s were low this season, because he took too many 3's (almost 6 a game), but he's in the same category athletically and size/length-wise as Wes Johnson - and has that same great range. He's a 90+ % foul shooter. And he's 19; not 22!! Also, he got 2.2 steals a game - coming out to 3.0 per 40. He might be worth trading up for - he and Elliot Williams are the 2 guys I think will go 20-25 that I'd trade up for - at this point. Thinking of it this way - George is a much better value at 20-25 than Johnson is at 5-8.

Must say I was pretty concerned in seeing Al-Farouq's shot chart efficiency numbers over on Bullets Forever:

http://www.bulletsforever.com/2010/4/3/ ... profile-al

Those 'at-the-rim' numbers stink something mighty. They were actually much better in his Freshman year, but still....

I can accept that he's a project who'll need time to develop, but he should be finishing inside on raw talent better than that. When you consider that some segment of those are surely higher percentage transition buckets, I'd suspect the half court numbers are abysmal.

I still like many aspects of him as a prospect, but I'd have to lower him down the board a bit.

Despite my concerns with Monroe's athleticism and ability to be an enforcer, I'm really hoping he comes out with us inevitably picking 5th or worse.

Hmmm, shot charts and shooting logs for all the ACC guys....

Master list:

Keep in mind these shot charts are career numbers at the default link, so you'll have to adjust them for 2010 stats...

Aminu:

Kyle Singler:

I'm telling you people, Aminu is NOT worth the 5th or 6th pick. The guy just can't shoot to save his life. He is a total project - one that won't become any good until his rookie contract expires. I fail to see how he's much better than Jared Jeffries or Dominic McGuire.

Heck, we already have a guy who can do the same things in James Singleton. Only Singleton has no learning curve, he costs less money, and won't cost us a draft pick.
