Seriously, the Bynum of a few years ago is exactly the type of player that would help us at a minimal price. I don't know how much Bynum has in the tank now, though.

Maybe Andrew Bynum? - though his guard skills might be a bit problematic. Good size though. I wonder what he's up to - and what his weight is up to. 8-)

second, I'm not trading for Sanders. We would have 22 mill tied up in 2 centers, One who is over 30 and the other has drug and attitude problems. Now I'm all for giving him a deal in the 2-3 mill range, once he's bought out. but im not giving up assets for him nor am I paying him 11 mill for the next 3 years.

gambitx777, I say Assume the Risks in Adding Larry Sanders knowing all of the following:

1. Sanders going from Milwaukee (hell, unless you like The Packers, The Badgers, Beer, Bratwurst, Cheese, loooong winter, and are basically Nordic-friendly) to DC (HEAVEN, with so many heavenly, well-to-do honeys that a brother cannot go wrong unless he tries) and playing with John Wall, and so many COOL BIG BROTHERS.... to love on him and/or kick his ass ... IS GOING TO APPRECIATE IN VALUE.

2. Nene, next season has an expiring contract. Nene could take one for the team in the future and play for vet minimum (doubtful) or stay at a discount (likely). His contract is very valuable starting next season. Very trade-able, too. Sanders actually represents long-term leverage.

3. Sanders is one more log to the fire of any Demarcus Cousins trade. One terrific playoff run and Sanders becomes a hot commodity.

4. speaking of playoffs -- AT HIS BEST SANDERS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE WIZARDS NEED. Quick leaper. Defender. Rebounder. Shot Blocker. Can finish at the rim any Wall alley oop.

5. Moving Webster's contract adds developmental time for Otto, though I do like Martell a ton. I like Seraphin, too, personality-wise. Good dude.

6. YOU SHOULD TRUST ME BY NOW. :D

You guys who don't understand me, fine. But if you think I'm wrong more than I'm right you're more delusional than I've ever been at my lowest point in life. I know what I know what I know. Sanders' value would appreciate the instant he becomes a Wizard. He's going to be very happy and very motivated to be a part of the Wizards. Wall will make him exceed his best PER of 18. Expect about 20-21 PER. You can never have too many good big men. Trade up for Boogie becomes even more doable. Last but not least, Sanders can DEFINITELY add more than Seraphin on defense and rebounding--but I will give Kevin his props for looking solid the past few games.

Think about Larry Sanders and what I said above. The Wizards needs a short-term, rocket boost come playoff time.

Add Will Bynum and Larry Sanders and this team's locked and loaded..... (Bad metaphor, what with Gil and all, but you know what I mean. :) )

I agree 100%, I have no doubts that this team could use him. But I don't think hes worth 11 mill. I would rather hold out to see if he get bought out. I don't like having all that money tied up in 2 centers. . . . . . unless they are willing to give us a first.... then I might be able to take it a bit better.

Sanders got that deal for a reason. His play 2 years ago was on the edge of all star worthy. He is 26. I think he IS worth it when playing to his best--not even his potential.

Sanders doesn't even want to play basketball and he smokes way to much dope. I don't want Wall and Beal having that in their locker room

There are conflicting reports about his willingness to play, He might very well want to play. But I still say its too big of a pain for 11 a year, now 1-3 a year sure let's go! Hell I would bring in Andrew Bynum if we would take a min deal. the fact is, his skills have to be factored in with his issues and his price tag. and the math just don't add up. even if he can be a beast t times!

I prefer Nate Robinson to Bynum because he is instant offense and can get a shot whenever he wants (a talent we desperately lack). The downside is he's probably an inferior distributor. Don't know whether Nate is obtainable or not but I'm glad we are looking to sign another PG.

Is Stuckey being shopped by Indiana? He'd be a nice cheap option combo guard. Might be able to nab him for a 2nd and potentially keep him in the offseason.

They went to the playoffs and went 1st and 3rd overall in the NBA Lottery. Those guys are prodigies who will both have long, successful NBA careers.

If anything, they rub off on Sanders in a good way.

Whether you like him or not (I don't - he stunk when he played this season - was arguably the single worst offensive player in the NBA - and there's still no platooning allowed in the NBA), we all know the Wiz wouldn't take a chance on someone like Sanders.

Wizards could use someone from this list page one
http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/playe ... int-guards

15 C.J. Watson, PG IND .393 33 for 84 and a 0.60 RPM
23 Pablo Prigioni, PG NY ..375 42 for 112 and a .0.33 RPM would only coast a 2nd. NY said so.

But if not them, Wizards have to let Temple play back up PG.. He is listed as a SG so not on that list

Garrett Temple, SG .388 19 for 49

And Temple can defend. And dunk. And run. 0.46 DRPM

Side not... To funny seeing
Jannero Pargo, PG at 9th on 9 of 22 with a -1.73 RMP and -1.81 DRPM..bad defender
Kendall Marshall, PG at 16th on 18 of 46 with 0.00 RPM and -0.70 DRPM.. bad defender.

Shabazz Napier, PG who I wanted.. 28 of 77 with a -1.42 RPM and -0.02 DRPM.. not good on offense by can shoot 3s

I would have loved Kendall Marshal over Miller, Sadly he is out for the year :( poor kid. TBH I would have loved it if we could have worked out a deal with Thomas, He is a Solid defender. with good size and solid speed, and he can hit his open shots at a good clip.

Hilariously, Indy is only 3 games out of the 8-seed. And one of the teams they have to pass just lost a key piece (Detroit). I'd actually look for them to be buyers at the deadline, not sellers. They apparently have a $4.2M TPE from a previous Granger trade that they can work with.

http://www.basketballinsiders.com/nba-t ... xceptions/

They don't have a corresponding amount of room under the luxtax, but they could take a small salary back to facilitate a larger deal. Or they could bite the bullet a pay a bit of tax to acquire a piece to get them in the playoffs.
