Looking good for Warnock. Let’s make Manchin irrelevant.

This is the bad part of the returns for a tight race. The smaller counties generally getting their votes in earlier.

Neck and neck...can't stand it, tuning-out now so I can be able to get to sleep later
I think(and hope) it flipped for the last time. Warnock now has a lead of 0.4%, without Walker having much of a path to close it.

Warnock did it. Locked in for 6 more years. Hopefully you had a good sleep and see this in the morning.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Yes, Trump turns out the crazies. But he also energizes the opposition. You can win the normal way without him and not destroy democracy.

While predicting the future can be risky, certainly the trend in GA is it is getting bluer.
So in 6 years, he seems likely to have a better margin.

Great news to wake up to, Walker still got almost 49% of the vote Re: Political Roundtable Part XXXI

The verdict is likely to increase the chances of tRump family members being charged personally.
So there's that ray of sunshine.
Like I've been saying, the dam is breaking so that is good. The concern is tRump opened the
barn door for a lot of deplorable people to 'express themselves' in ways that are harmful
to our country. And they've been doing that. I know they were there all along but
had been considerably more marginalized until recently. And yeah, I used that word.
How you feeling BonnieScott?

Credit to Stacey Abrams who is single handedly turning Georgia blue. She may not be the right candidate for governor but if a Dem governor gets elected in GA it will be because of the work she did. Now we need more Stacey Abramses in other red states.

A republican running in the South starts with almost 50% as soon as they announce they're running.
And the fact that Walker, a horrible candidate, did almost get to 50% is not something that the
GOP voters in GA should be proud of. If brains were dynamite, he couldn't blow his nose.

Counterpoint:
It’s not an either or proposition. Abrams created the turnout machine that gave Warnock a chance while Warnock’s strategy to appeal to Republicans and Independents paid off well because at best he gained votes as someone who’s not radical and at worst probably caused some Republicans to stay home because he didn’t pose enough threat to make them come out for Walker.

Re: Political Roundtable Part XXXI
There is a real question of how blue Georgia can turn. It can go the route of Virginia or the route of NC. Actually there's a question of how blue NC can turn too - and whether there's enough groundswell to overcome gerrymandering.
