As you said, it's wild.

It's a Machiavellian power move, but I love what he's doing.

Locksley can say family business and dirty laundry should be kept in-house; but he's the one whose program gets all the money to compete that it needs. What does Lox do with copious NIL and a very lucrative brand new contract from Damon Evans? He gets curb stomped.

Kevin Willard understood how to go from last year's 17-16 bad B1G team to second place,14-6 in conference. 2nd place! The reason is he understands the playing field and he works smart and hard.

Willard is leveraging for more NIL money to buy talented players. He wants revenue share in his contract. Of course, UMCP is up against whatever salary Villanova is willing to pay.

Mike Locksley can stay loyal to Damon Evans His contract and failure to compete in conference is destroying Fandom.

Willard is beloved by his players. He's a father figure. He's like Lefty Driesell. He's super honest. He readily admits his mistakes.

After I just got through saying Locksley can't coach, I'm hoping Malik Washington is a transformational player.

What an amazingly sucky end to an otherwise enjoyable season. After Willard leaves & takes Gillespie & Rice with him to Villanova, the Terps might be the least talented roster in the entire NCAA.

It’s gonna get uglier than the Bob Wade era pretty soon. But hey, at least the football team will be just good enough to get an annual invite to the Mayo Bowl, yippee!

I'm a Terps fan but this is disrespectful to JD.

That wasn't the same Maryland team that has played all year. First time I've ever seen them give up. They might never come out and say it, but it looked like they mentally checked out with all of the drama surrounding the coaching situation. I think Willard could have handled the situation better but this is what happens when Coaches are getting hired in the middle of the NCAA tournament. Maryland isn't perfect, but hopefully this should serve as a lesson to the AD that it makes no sense to have a coach that doesn't want to be here. Before this game our largest lost was 6 points.

Willard can take a hike. Queen and three shooters got the dude his new gig. KW is an average coach, nothing special.

I can't believe he lost not subbing Miguel.
I can't believe he never developed Palmer.
I can't believe he didn't try to use Gapare in the NCAA tournament.
I can't believe all season long he played DeShawn Harris-Smith key minutes

Let the guy go.
