Ace nabbed ahead of us, Fears nabbed ahead of Brooklyn

Should’ve have taken him at 6 imo

I’m guessing Raptors or Suns are taking him at 9 or 10. We’d have to trade up with Nets and they don’t need any more picks.

You haven’t been paying attention then. By all reports, he may be the hardest worker in the draft. Complete gym rat.

Bub hit that buzzer beater then proceeded to bring zero luck to the lottery. His punishment is getting replaced by a better, bigger shooter/scorer

No guard on the Wizards can get in the lane consistently. Awful awful awful.

Dawkins ain’t it.

First of all AJ showed he can do it, and finish in a variety of ways.

Tre got into the lane plenty but frequently passed when the defense collapsed on him.

Love to get Bryant

Maluach will probably go sooner unless I've been totally wrong about him.

or Sorber, or Essengue, or Fleming or even Beringer, Wolf (maybe)

I trust Dawkins

Also, we lucked into the 18th pick in the last 4 months. Didn't work out perfect, but it might turn out as good as I could have hoped short of Harper or Flagg.

I'm very happy. They got my guy. Stone cold shooter. I think he has a chance to be really special. Fits the current core really well. I mentioned of all the prospects in the 6th range, his traits matched what the front office likes: Lengthy guys who can pass, dribble & shoot.

I am 100% in on Dawkins, but I will admit, I would have much, much preferred trading down or out for ping pong balls in '26, to this bull----. This does nothing for me whatsoever, just a bigger, longer Bub, who doesn't play nearly as hard. Sucks, what a disastrous tank year. Ended up with a hot ---- sandwich after one of the two worst seasons of my lifetime.

If we don't end up with a top 3 pick in '26, I will daydream about napalming the architects of this horse ---- lottery system (just day dream lol).

Seriously I was just listening to the hoops tonight podcast today (Sam vecenie was the guest) and both guys were marveling at Tre's shooting workouts.

I'm not gonna be mad at a 20ppg D1 true freshmen that is 6'6 lol. Preferred Fears and Bailey but I'm good with it.

He said he wants to learn how to be a foul merchant like Shai which is one of the best answers I've heard out of any prospect. Smart kid.

Will be interesting to see what big is available at 18 (Queen, Sorber) or they can go point with Traore or Clayton. Maybe CMB. Though guessing Dawkins will go Euro and young which takes out Clayton.

I was about to say Bilas had Demin too high

Nate, just wondering. Why did you prefer Tre to Fears?

Fears is undersized. I don’t like undersized PGs unless they are virtually flawless on offense and Fears has too many flaws (turnovers, shooting). I’m just not sure I can envision him on a second round playoff team.

Tre is a prototypical SG with good size and length. . He definitely can play in a playoff game.

Demin is a terrible pick. He is Deni without the athleticism.
