To be fair, that's 8 games as a 12 minute per game backup. And 7 of those 8 games were double digit blowouts so the amount of garbage time may have been substantial. He has a sample size of just 101 minutes, all as a bench player.

I'm not hating. Just pointing out that those numbers don't mean all that much yet.

I think what it means - along with the G League stats - that he belongs in the NBA. Obviously, nobody's saying he's going to continue at a 24.2 PER pace with a 60% TS%.

Bucks have tried Plumlees, and now they're trying a Zeller. Unfortunately, it's Tyler instead of Cody, but Tyler's still a usefull player having an excellent shooting tough for a 7 footer and runs the court well. And he's re-united with John Henson - who he played with 2 or 3 years at UNC. They will now share the center position. Thon Maker just wasn't working out as the backup center. People seriously overrated him.

Tyler is a good player, but he's an offensive player. He's going to hurt their defense, not like it was great shakes before, I suppose. He could work out for the, though, depending on how they play

Cavs are really trying to get Jordan, looking for a 3rd team. I wouldn't be opposed of being that team depending on what they want if we can get rid Meeks or some of these other contracts. I'd like Shumpert on this team.

We're trying to dump salary, LAC is up against the tax so they sure as hell wont take back more than they send out... And Cleveland has nothing but garbage.. Bad match

I like Shumpert, but we already have a better version of him in Sato.

It doesn't really matter anyway. Typically, when teams are looking for a third team, they're looking for someone to absorb salary. We are unable to do so.

If LA does trade Jordan to Cleveland, I would certainly be on the phone trying to see what they would give us in return for Gortat, or to see what it would take for us to dump Mahinmi on them.

Really curious how talks with Cleveland could possibly gain traction when you consider that they're not willing to send the Brooklyn pick.

What can they possibly send along with their low first rounder that's better than our offer of Oubre and Gortat to make this happen?

(assuming that that rumor is even true)

I seriously doubt that we are willing to send Oubre and Gortat for Jordan.

Frankly, I think the market for Jordan simply isn't that hot. Nobody has any money and they don't want to pay a kajillion dollars for a center who can't be on the floor in crunch time.

Bulls got Willie Reed for the corpse of Jameer Nelson.

I'd have been very happy to acquire Willie Reed for Frazier!

Wow! Two more trades for Cleveland. They just traded away Crowder, Shumpert, Rose and Wade.
Just let the young boys play! It's truly the only hope at this point.

There is no one on realgm happier than me right now. I truly value IT way more than anyone on the site does right now. I can't believe how everyone is judging him without even giving him a chance to get his game back. When he was traded for Kyrie, I said that I no longer have any worries about beating Boston but I always thought we could beat the Cavs and now I don't.

I just think that him being his size and a lefty was too much for Wall and Brooks low in to figure out. We would never be able to guard him. Now I literally have no fear about Wall VS anyone else and we match up well with everyone when on our game.

I just think when used right, being a lefty is a huge advantage. Harden is awesome and I wanted us to draft him but he wouldn't be as deadly if he were orthodox. That is another reason why I liked us drafting Oubre and I didn't want to match Porter.

IT may have a hip that ended his career but if he is just rusty then the Cavs made a huge mistake

Even if IT shed his rust, his value to the Cavs would have been an overall net negative, in my opinion. One, Lue is not Brad Stevens. He won't be able to scheme around IT's defensive liabilities. Second, the Cavs have worse perimeter defenders than the Celtics did last year as well.

I actually like how the Cavs have remade their roster on the fly.

Once Love comes back they now actually have a roster that's better suited towards playing Love at center, and while he's on the mend they've assembled a squad that can grind it out on both ends.

Going to take some time to get these guys on the same page but it'll be interesting to watch how Lebron responds to this latest challenge.

The Cavs traded one point guard that eliminated John Wall in the playoffs in 2017 and get another point guard in George Hill in a separte deal that eliminated Wall back in 2014.

The best part for me is that they've found their Jordan Bell counter in Nance, who's even a better player than Bell. LeGM/Altman/Gilbert are like the rich man's EG. They were able to salvage their roster to get better with trades after making terrible decisions in the offseason.

I totally agree overall. I was just speaking of our specific matchup

The Cavs made some head-spinning moves, dealing 6 players -- that must be a trade deadline record! I'm trying to digest it all.

Gone are Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Channing Frye, Dwyane Wade, Iman Shumpert, & Derrick Rose, as well as Cleveland's 2018 first-round pick & their 2020 R2 pick.

Arriving are Larry Nance Jr., Jordan Clarkson, Rodney Hood, George Hill, & (theoretically) a heavily-protected R2 pick.

They're down to 13 players, so look for them to pick someone up from among the bought-out players.
