I would trade the first overall for him. Spurs obviously wouldn't.

I still cannot wrap my mind around the fact that he isn’t a Wizard right now..

I could be way off base but I'm actually giving the Knicks a better chance than many.

That said, there is Wemby. I'm just not ready to have the Spurs dominate the league for the next 10 years or more.
But that's more acceptable than the #Sonicsgate Thunder winning multiple chips.

Clash of my two favorite non-Wizards teams! (Embiid has soured me on Sixers.) I see Spurs taking this with the best player on the court (maybe in the league) and one or more additional future all stars. But it's not a slam dunk and Knicks seem to have gotten hot at the right time. Hard to see Spurs sweeping and not ruling out Knicks winning. Hoping for a seven-game series. I think this had been my favorite playoffs in years, lots of drama!

I hope the Knicks win because they haven't won anything in a long time. Plus, it feels like the Spurs are on the verge of building a dynasty.

Not really a dominant Wemby performance but the Spurs have lots of quality players. Spurs and OKC just have endless wing-sized players who can do everything. Castle and Harper are really good, especially Harper. But the Knicks are hanging in there, and that gives me some hope that Trae on the team is not some death sentence against teams with big guards.

Hope Brunson is OK after the knee and ankle injuries. Apparently minor enough

The Spurs have gotten away with everything in this game.

I know they're not quite the same person but are we sure we want to trade our Champagnie?

Also as I'm sure others have noted, SAN can play 4 guards with Wemby. They don't really
play a trad PF much at all.

It really wasn't fair for the Spurs to get Harper. But maybe our 1st overall will elicit the same
feelings in other NBA cities. Hoping...

Brunson is great. Knicks are just better than the sum of their parts.

Brunson is so easy to root for. Dudes out there doing more with less and coming up clutch every time.

That was an entertaining game. Hard not to root for the Knicks.

strange - game 1 home winners win title 70%

game 1 road winners only 50%

I wonder if that's because the road winners had the worse record in the reg season?

then there's the old saying that a playoff series doesn't start until a road team wins a game.

Mitch Johnson didn’t have the guts to bench Fox and play Harper down the stretch.

Dylan was amazing tonight. Spurs may have won if he played in the last 4 minutes.
