President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Hey, President Obama.
Would you like a third term?

Barack might be cool with it, but Michelle has already made it clear that she wants her freedom from being the First Family.

Wow, GOP imploding. I'm sorry, this hot mic moment is what took you people over the edge? Really? If you are dropping your support now, you really are deplorable.

Do not take at face value that the emails have not been doctored.

Anyone noticed this guy, running for sheriff as a Libertarian in Linn County, Iowa, but running ads in the DC market?
He kind of reminds me of Clint Eastwood in his manner, though probably not in some of his provocative policy positions. Partial story below, but still haven't heard/read why he's running ads in DC market.

That's the problem with this kind of "October Surprise," it's too hard to verify in the current short window what, if any at all, is real. Many people still remember Dan Rather's downfall due to a faked piece of evidence. Many people also have the sense that there's a whole world of possibility for people (like, say, Induveca) to legitimately (and I use that term loosely) come upon damning documents or, alternatively, to fabricate same and create a feasible sounding trail of provenance. How can the mass of voters tell the difference?
The recent dirt on Trump is not nearly so difficult to verify: the tax returns authenticated by his accountant (who additionally claims Trump's "brilliance" had nothing to do with the strategy) and essentially owned up to by Trump and his campaign, along with the many sound bites from Trump himself, practically authenticated upon viewing. All October Surprises are not created equal.

The meltdown within the Republican Party has been my favorite part of this whole debacle. The Repubs are learning the hard way that "if you sleep with dogs you wake up with fleas."

I still want to know how you grab someone by their pvssy. Do you use two fingers and kind of hook them on? It's such an awkward turn of phrase.

You're right. This new tape can't be the least bit surprising to anyone following the campaign. The only reason to bail out on Trump now is political expediency.
Lots of R's running for office now or in the future must be going nuts trying to figure whether it hurts more stay loyal or abandon Trump.
There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics — quote popularized by Mark Twain.

Re: Political Roundtable Part X
Now after the dust has settled a bit, I think this hurts Trump, but it's not a catastrophe. It would have been a lot worse if this took place on, say, October 30th. I think with 30 days yet to go, people's emotional reactions to this will subside and it will go back to mostly being about issues. Most Trump supporters are Trump supporters not because they like his personal life, but because they like his positions on trade and immigration. They recognize that Trump is an assh0le but they actually want an assh0le in office to go up against the assh0les in Congress, media and the special interest lobbies.
For me the bottom line is that Clinton victory means amnesty for the 13-30 million illegal aliens from 3rd world countries currently residing here. Amnesty means that the same demographic shift that took place in California will also take place in Texas, Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina; which means that no Conservative or Libertarian will ever be elected President ever again. It's that simple.
So for all the Conservatives and Libertarians out there, you may not like Trump; you may think he's thoroughly unsuited to be President; you make think he's a total douche; but if you ever want a Libertarian or a Conservative to be President ever again, you must vote Trump. Deep down, you know I'm right.
You can continue to virtue signal that you're a decent person who will instead vote for a decent guy like Gary Johnson, that's cool. I get it. Trump makes it very difficult to admit you're voting for him. Nobody wants to lose friends arguing over political stuff. But on Election Day, when nobody else is looking, you know you have no other choice. It's Trump or permanent political exile.

Yeah, how are people shocked by these tapes? Did they really not understand what type of person he was and is? Frankly, the Republicans turning on him now either had their heads buried in the sand or are disingenuous 2-faced bleeps.
