WOW. Kings are utter morons. Hield stinks (Pels should have taken Murray). Now, NO resigns Jrue.

Deal is probably Boogie for Evans (expiring)+Hield+2017 NO 1st+2019 NO 1st

I'd say best we can offer... Gortat + Oubre & 2 1st round picks (2017, 2019).

http://basketball.realgm.com/tradechecker/saved_trade/6835412

Also I offer to take Temple, who was a good fit here, off their hands, and include Nicholson & Satoransky.

Yeah. They need to be contracted.

To put it in perspective:

Oubre is roughly the same as Hield.

Gortat>Evans (if Sac wanted expirings, they could have easily flipped him)

Their first rounders would be worth more than the Wiz, but Boogie would be going out of conference.

Cousins must have a horrible reputation around execs in the league to only net that in return.

Well, now we get to see whether the problem was mostly SacTown or mostly Cousins

Pels front court would be best in the league, yeah?

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Kings only get ONE first rounder?

Casspi+Boogie for Galloway+Evans+Hield+2017 NO 1st+2017 Philly 2nd.

That's IT??????

Heck, the Knicks would have traded them Rose's expiring+2017 Knicks 1st+2019 Knicks 1st over that crap package.

We could have easily offered way better than that. This is the most lopsided trade I've ever seen.

SF: Hill/Casspi
PF: AD/Jones
C: Boogie/AD

Plus, Wall could have gotten Boogie to play under control.

Oubre+Gortat+2017 Wiz 1st+2017 Wiz 2nd. Kings flip Gortat for another 1st. That deal is comparable to the deal NO gave up.

Well, geez, Wall would have gotten him under control? Maybe Brooks? How about playing with Anthony Davis, who can protect some of his defensive flaws. Bad trade but I'm happy we didn't get him because I'm sure we would have to include a lot more than the Pels gave up, which wasn't a lot.

In non-Boogie news:

Per J Michael:

Wall anticipates that Grunfeld will make a move at trade deadline. "I think so. We're looking at some options"

All this shows is that his attitude is much worse than anyone imagined. It was a red flag when many front office execs said they simply wouldn't trade for Cousins.

Holy crap that is a horrible return for Cousins. Gortat + Oubre + two firsts beats that easily.

But the fact that he was traded for peanuts shows how little demand for him there really was. It wouldn't surprise me if only two or three teams were trying to trade for him.

Wow & they only got one first rounder out of it. I can't believe that was the best offer. Oubre, Gortat (flipped for expirings) & (2) 1sts easily beats that offer. Boston or Phoenix could have easily beat that offer.
