Don’t want to brawl here, been out of US for a long time now.

The above is insane. If people missed it please read. Need to keep our eye on the ball with China. This impacted Apple....
Also I think Oubre breaks out this year! Also like what I’ve seen from Brown! Out of control but dude plays hard.
Hoping everyone in US can take a deep breath as China capitalizes on the government being distracted.

Not a problem. And if I ever say that about our poster Kanye, then please feel free to call me out. He seems like a good guy.
I really need to change my username.
You better if you ever want to get on SNL again.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

i agree that this is a real issue and needs to be taken seriously but it shouldn't be misappropriated as evidence to support trump's anti-chinese trade policies.
it's stuff like this that makes the current state of trump's relationship with the intelligence community that much more troubling.
edit: good to see you indu. hope you post more - you had the craziest stories.

You’re a fool! Phuck da Chinese!
I hope n pray that trump hits every single Chinese imported good w 500% tariffs stat.
That would raise close to 1.5 trillion in revenue.
Instead of paying down the debt the us should buy gold with the surplus. Corner the market on gold options. Then perform naval ops around their man made islands. If they flinch, sink the entire Chinese fleet including their brand new 2 billion dollar carrier if they interrupt our navel exercises now set for next month.
The price of gold will triple overnight. The gold options will be worth 5-7 trillion. Sell the options. Then force China into a war, trade, n geographical treaty where they pay 1 trillion in reparations for hacking into our various systems and all this by chips. Pay an additional 1 trillion damages for the theft of our intellectual property. A balanced trade treaty. And relinquish all control of their man-made islands.
The us would come out with only 12 trillion in debt.
That’s the right move! Blame the Russians for sinking the carrier groups.

Good to know you’re alive and well induveca. I think Trump is decoupling us economically from China which is wise imo. Many report he just wants a more reciprocal trade relationship but I believe he understands that’s impossible given their current leadership.

In 2018 we will import about $500 billion in goods from China alone.
it was a type. 1.5 (above) trillion was suppose to be 2.5 trillion but yes i do know. If we charge a 500% tariff (or 5 times the amount) on those incoming goods the federal government will receive $2.5 TRillion (with a T). A 10% tariff will yield $50 billion. If we did this the US would end up with a $1- 1.5 trillion surplus. instead of a 1.1 trillion deficit.
I say do it! Do it. Do it tomorrow. China's economy will sink in a week and in 3 month they will bend to any demand we make.
We should then sign bi lateral deals with every other major trading nation in the globe and part of each of those deals would be also force those trading partners to also charge china a 500% import tariff for their good. We'd crush china. No reason not to do this. Americans can buy american or buy from other countries.
We could force china to pay for our intellectual property, force them to stop spying and meddling. Force them to stop manipulating their currency and force them to import from us as much as they export to us. win, win, win, win, win. The only losers would be the global corporations that were raking in trillions. Apple Amazon would be big losers. Who cares? Soros, UPS, and Fed Ex would lose. Who cares!! I dont!
Trump gets it! Trump is doing the right things!
I have been saying on this thread for 2 years that we used to never have income tax in the US but but briefly in the civil war and then in 1913 as part of the federal reserve act, your income (taxes) was held as collateral to pay for the money that the US government would borrow from the big 4 banks that own the federal reserve. Prior to 1913 tariffs used to pay for the entire budget of the federal government. And they could again! We dont need income taxes! and if we impose enough tariffs, it will force more corporations to build and manufacture in the US. which will create more and more jobs. Which will increase wages so long as we dont import too much labor!! <--its quite simple. So long as our law makers and president are looking out for the little guy, for the american worker, the system will work!!
What woodrew wilson did was disgusting. 17 years after the federal reserve act the US entered its worse economic depression ever and it lasted a 12 years. Only a war brought us out of it. Allies buying war stuff and hitler had the rothschilds and their gold on the run all over europe. He was 30 miles outside of the paris vaults before the US entered the war. We stormed Normandy with other allied forces. Lost 12 million men and saved the Paris branch of the rothschild gold vaults. Miraculously the american credit markets opened up after WW2 from 1942-1975 for a period of growth never seen anywhere until China from 1980-2017.
The US had tremendous wealth after assisting allies in WW1. and Again flush with wealth after WW2. Major depression in between. Go figure. One the rothschild had grown tired of our emerging market. They began to invest heavily in china in the 1970's because labor union cut into their profit margins in the US.
Huge mistake by Jimmy carter to give into the damn bankers in in 1979. as they raised interest rates to as high as 18-19% for a 30 year mortgage with good credit.<--and that was conventional loans with 20% down!!
You young kids dont know history. or the real history. You have never followed the money. Always follow the money!!
like i said, its a full rebuild.

i think trump is going to crush the entire chinese trading market and their economy in the process. That. Or they are going to significantly capitulate to trade and economic demands.
We are 100% in the drivers seat. Any nation will gladly trade with us and for the most part, US citizens dont need more junk! we already have enough TV's, cars, clothes, phones, and crap in general. We all can go 5 years without buying another TV, another new car, computer or phone. And other markets can and will gladly provide us with disposables.
The smart thing for trump to do is just to do a general 200% tariff on all goods from china. If i was trump i would announce it tomorrow and make it indefinately. And I would simultaneously announce that if China counters and specifically targets red and purple state exports to china that the tariff will double to 400%.
Simple as that. At 200% the cost of goods from China would double and We would raise 500-600 Billion per year and almost balance the budget right there. To me this is better than income tax because if you dont waste money on excess goods then you DONT pay the tax.. The i would continue to cut income taxes. Start with small businesses. Cut their rates to the exact same amount that Large corps pay. 21%
like i said, its a full rebuild.

Wow monte working on a comedy routine? Thing really just be crazy in here.
And with that I take my exit. Continue the brawl.
Highly recommend Hong Kong, it’s a wonderful city. My kid just began kindergarten in August, and they’re already teaching them multiplication. *in kindergarten*. Minimum age for entrance into HK kindergarten? Just 30 months.
Watching a bunch of near 3 year olds learning very basic multiplication is beyond impressive.

And here in Houston - kindergarteners learning English, Spanish and Hindi. Amazing to watch those little kids write essays in all three languages.
