Turd is a terrible owner.

What evidence is that? He's not playing the games. He's not doing the scouting. Sure he trusts people to much and probably approves too much money to the wrong people but he is not a terrible owner. He spends money when needed. He keeps the venues decent he cares about his player. You're saying he's a terrible owner because the teams hasn't won a tittle or isn't in contention every year. That's silly. Lots of decent owners aren't on contention every year. Blame EG, blame tommy. Give Ted shot for being to kind and trusting but don't call him a bad owner. He isn't.

I get it. He’s not evil per se.

But he’s arrogant, thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room, hires and holds on to the wrong people, and is not only not in contention every year, he’s NEVER been in contention.

Except in the WNBA at least once. And hockey, likewise. And arena football. And his silly e-sports league.

Look the capitals have only missed the play offs once since 2006 I believe and the mystics are regular off seasons featured every other year or so. Idk I'm just saying he's mid. But I don't see mid as bad just mid.

I'm pretty sure he has a say in player personnel. He's the one who spearheaded giving Beal that ridiculous contract and getting Wall out of town. He's part of the decision making group in the front office. He is meddling in the decisions like Snyder, because like Snyder, he's an egomaniac who thinks he's smarter than everyone else.

Anyway, not happening, so not worth discussing.

The source says that Bezos, 58, is "looking into buying the Washington Commanders" after current owners Dan and Tanya Snyder announced they were exploring options to sell the NFL team on Wednesday.

Bezos is considering making the purchase "possibly in partnership" with Jay-Z, according to the insider. The rapper previously owned a stake in the Brooklyn Nets.

I don't like that at all. Bazos just wants a toy imo opinion and JZ just wants it for the clout. I don't like this idea at all. I don't think they care about the city or the team or its fans. I think they just want an NFL team and I'd rather it go to someone local.

Jay-Z absolutely understands the DC area though. Like from the streets on up. And knows what a sleeping giant there is in the local fanbase. 100%. I could see him wanting to do an RFK stadium revamp, then making serious $$$ off it as an events venue. I could see it doing for the DC Armory area what Nats Park did. Develop it right up to, um, the area around the jail I guess, lol.

I'm Team Bezos. Rich enough to put a stadium in DC proper and we don't ever have to worry about money as an issue. Even though Snyder was rich himself, Bezos is on another level.

We can't predict how he'd run the team from a Football standpoint, but I'd like to think a tech guy would understand the importance in hiring the absolute best and letting them do their best work.
