Not sure if its been mentioned, but I'd love to see a Dalembert for Hinrich deal. That would be a type of move that could help ensure a playoff appearance and give us more cap flexibility going forward. He might just very well be the best defensive center available. With Cousins, Thompson, Landry & Whiteside they may not have a huge need for Dalembert. Hinrich also seems like a good fit as a spot-up shooter alongside Tyreke Evans. I think it works for both teams.

It's a great move financially and position-wise, but Dalembert has a notoriously poor attitude and work ethic. I don't think we want him anywhere near Blatche and McGee.

I'd rather see if we can pull off Hinrich for Pryzbilla or Hinrich for Jeff Foster.

I'm definitely in favor of trading Hinrich so long as the plan remains to keep Arenas. Hinrich is going to take a lot of minutes from Young, and I think this could be a break out year for Young if he gets the opportunity. Ideally, we trade Young for a defensive big or a defensive SF with one or two years left on his contract.

It's a joke trade (trading Gil, Hinrich, Thornton, Nick Young and getting back Durant, Dwight Howard, Brook Lopez, Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka, Courtney Lee). It does add 50 wins to the Wizards projected record.

Wall/Westbrook
Westbrook/Lee
Durant/Booker
Blatche/Ibaka/Seraphin
Howard/Lopez/McGee

I don't think the Wizards will get 76 wins though.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Dwight Howard and Kevin Durant would fit nicely into our roster. Flip might have to adjust the offense a bit to accommodate them, but we could make it work.

Why not try to work out something centered around Arenas for Okafor? They have similar contracts and Paul is whining to leave and play with a superstar; so . . . bring one in. Don't have a clue how NO handles the center situation, would probably have to give them a young big, maybe even Serafin, but if it could be done, we have a nice team starting to set up:

McGee/Okafor/Ndiayi/Armstrong
*(Okafor can get more minutes but want McGee to start for confidence sake)
Blatche/Okafor/Yi/Serafin/Preldzic
Booker/Thornton (Gives us defender starting, scoring off bench)
Young/Hinrich/Martin? (see center comment)
Wall/Hinrich/Powell?

I don't see New Orleans paying Arenas' salary. It would have to be a three way where Arenas is laundered to a third party for short contracts, the short contracts are sent to New Orleans, and Okafor is sent here. But if that were possible, I'd rather just trade Arenas for short contracts and be done with it.

I think Seraphin is going to pan out to be roughly equivalent to Okafor.

Even if CP3 decides to leave, the Hornets still have Darren Collison.

Okafor's on/off numbers from last year are doing very little to make my nipples feel tingly.

Are you THAT desperate to get rid of Arenas that you want to take on a large contract of equal length AND give up value for an undersized center with overrated defense??

Seriously you've got to be trolling.

I'm really getting sick of this "dump Arenas at all costs" mentality, and I'd expect a Wizards fan to know better.

Yeah, no opinions except for what the majority thinks! I say we should start checking for party cards when people log in.

You're right, we should dump Arenas for Okafor because he's a guntoting thug and a team cancer that we should be glad to have off our team, even if we have to give up a guy we drafted in the middle of the first round.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.
