It's sad when only positive observation from watching this game is Wall's jumper lol

singleton's shooting .500 from 3 for the past 6 games. for a "non-shooter" to come in cold and in spot minutes and shoot so consistently should erase a lot of doubt that he can hit that corner 3 with regularity.

also orlando just playing some pretty decent ball. twenty-some assists in 3 quarters?

Crawford needs SO MUCH COACHING, and so many players on your team do, there's no chance they'll get the attention they need. That's what "too much youth" means, in my opinion.

This offense is terrible... im starting to think SOME of the chucks by Crawford and Blatche are a result of it. As much as I hate the Princeton offense it would be better than this crap!!

What did you expect? No one on this team is a starter. The shot selection is just awful and the passing is piss poor.

My expectations might be a little lower with the players we have.

Crawford's not just shooting poorly, he's getting out-physical'd and out-athletic'd (I think I made up some words there - inspired by the Wiz) by... wait for it... JJ Redick. I'd regard that as a problem.

It's not just too much youth, it's too much mediocre or below average youth. Too many projects and guys with "upside" who lack b-ball IQ.

Ha! You know what would be funny? Trying to watch this group run the Princeton. That might require it's own laugh track.

All this other stuff (playing out of control, not finding teamates, body language, etc) is relatively insignificant to me. My big concern is that jumper.

His lack of jumper is only one my concerns watching him. We have virtually been blown out every game this season right from the beginning and at some point, he needs to take control of the offense and start making things happen. Just important PG duties such as understanding the tempo, executing a high pick n roll, reading the defense, being vocal in the sets, etc, i just haven't seen enough of it at this point. I know he's still a kid, but i saw more from cp3, Deron, an even Derrick Rose in their rookie years in terms of running an offense the way a PG should.

Deron, Paul and Rose had guys around them that didn't suck. Plus they could make jumpers which makes it tougher on the defense.

Do you remember some of the crap that Nola surrounded cp3 with early in his career? They were at least competitive in his rookie and sophomore years and by his 3rd year, they won almost 60 games and were one game from the WCF. He Tyson Chandler before he was Tyson Chandler, a pick n pop forward in David West and a washed up Peja. Now thats still superior to what we have around Wall now,, but cp3 made that team competitive because he mastered the high pick n roll game with West as his pick n pop big, Chandler as his rolling big and Peja as his kick out shooter.

I just want to see Wall execute the high pick n roll a but better.

One piece of good news. Booker hit more 20 ft jumpers today (2) than he did all of last year (1).

Everyone see that shot of Ernie and head of "Player Development" Ed Tapscott? Ernie & Ted loving them that trip to sunny Orlando.

Just a question. But who is Wall supposed to execute the pick & roll with?

I gotta believe "Chuckit" Crawford sits in film session after each game and is told essentially the same goddamn thing. There is no way the Wizards coaching staff is green lighting him to take off-balance, completely covered shots. I bet they give him his shooting percentages in those situations and everything. You gotta think during the film sessions Crawford is like, "yeah, sorry, I got carried away...again". Blaming this on Flip is a bit short sighted. The question in my mind is whether the kid is at all coachable right now. The answer, which Flip is to blame, is to simply start yanking him whenever be does this stuff. Then of course he's opened up to not developing youth, but still - you gotta see a pattern here. Crawford REALLY needs to be yanked, like a minute in or some such.
